Whoever gets Kluivert is getting a lemon I’m convinced of it. Yes these goals look great on twitter. But his overall contribution is poor. He never beats his man on the outside. Every single goal is virtually the same cutting in and hitting it. Granted they are good finishes , but I think he will be worked out in 5 mins in the PL. Neres has much more to his game.

Yeah, that guy from Bayern does the same thing but from the other side. He's a lemon. I think Robben is his name

From the youtube clip that I just watched I'd take neres. On the other hand, I really think we should be giving edwards and shashoua chances before looking to buy either of those players

In the Bundesliga it seem Leon Bailey is starting to look like the player he was expected to be while at Genk. He reminds me a little bit of a left-footed version of Mane. Still only 20. Yes, at Genk I read he had some "personal" problems (not sure what) but it seem that at Bayer L. he's sorted them out. I did mention him more than a year ago but then things kind of went silent with him.
He's also not willing to play for Jamaica as he feels they're not professional enough for him to bother so Spurs would not lose him on international duty.
We all know how the previous player Spurs got from Bayer fared...

Being heavily linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, I agree he looks a player though

He had some didciplinary problems while at Genk. Badly advised by his father, who was always looking for stories he could leak to the press to destabilise the relationship Bailey had with the club and force a transfer. That being said: he has massive potential!

Saw on the news Brighton have had an £18million accepted for Celtics moussa dembele. The price that was going round last transfer and he ends up at Brighton. Surely for a backup we would have been interested
I always think its worth noting that Gary Hooper was much prolific as a striker than Dembele is now for Celtic, and Hooper never was good enough for us. He scored a brace against Man city, thats about it in terms of proving that he could do it in the prem. His league goal record isn't all that. Good but nothing special and worse than Scott Sinclairs. He is a talent that can develop but thats all he is. We can do better.

I wouldn't sell Rose at all, I hope he stays, he may go and if he does I'd want a bloody top price and a bloody good replacement but I wouldn't look forward to it.

Personally, I’d sell Rose to Utd for the highest price I could (£40m?) and include Shaw in the deal to make it £55m ish.

Then use that money to buy Sessegnon brothers £30m and Barkley £20m.

Sess can then be used as a left winger which is where I think he’s more dangerous.

Shaw and Davies at lb.

I think that would be an excellent January, reduce the age of the squad and would allow us to get rid of Rose who’s head is gone and GNK also.

All of this is a hypothetical arguement. I don't think Man Utd are really that interested in Rose. I dont think they were that interested to begin with, but thought it was a good ploy to unsettle us at least, and his form since coming back has not been that good. He looks a shadow of his former self. He was much better today but with Ashley Young having played pretty darn well at Left back this season and Shaw coming back into the team and having another good performance today I'm not sure they are that interested.

If man utd did go in for Rose I would be tempted to sell. Mostly because I'm very skeptical that he will ever be the player he was for us. Similarly his age and injury history are beginning to count against him.

41m+ for a player who is struggling to match pre-injury form, who is currently our second best left back and who has never played more than 28 premier league games in a season is a lot of money.

We would have signed him by now if he hadn't failed a medical.

Perhaps a silly question, but when does the transfer rumours forum re-open? I’m sure I remember it commencing a few days before Jan over the last couple of years ?

He doesn’t want to play for the Jamaican national team because they’re bad and he said that he will only play for them if they’re getting better like what even is that for shit attitude, it’s your country you can help them get better. But football wise he’s one heck of a talent

Is it til the team gets better or their fa. I’d be happy if England players revolted and got some reforms in the fa.

Reported man u want £34 million for mkhitaryian. Good price for a player of his quality. Would rather a player like him than Barkley that has been suggested he would play cam for us. If you watch highlights of mkhitaryian for man u he has been making good runs and excellent movement but just penny won't drop for him at them. He's showed he can handle the premium and a fresh team and I think he will hit the heights of Dortmund again

England players threatened to go on strike years ago didn’t they, when Ferdinand got banned for missing a drugs test.

Remember Brian Clough coming out and saying he’d never consider any player that went on strike for selection again if he were manager! Have to say, I made him right.

He’s nearly 29, no chance even in this inflated market. We need an understudy for Eriksen, not someone who’s peaked and expects to start every week.

Keeping Rose and adding Sessegnon is what we need to do.

What you're suggesting makes us weaker.
