He probably made enough at Spurs & Arsenal to pay for the party that followed........a bit like a gap year at Uni that lasted a tad longer than a year!

Do we know who is out there with the U-16's? Apart from Jayden Brown, obviously....

was thinking the same thing. id guess Edwards is there as we haven't seen him in the u18s but i wonder if Azzoui and Yayaha are there who are both 16?

Wow that looked like it could of ended 5-3 or something. Glover seems quite error prone, maybe ending the run of solid keepers coming through our academy. Then again at that age errors will always be around and he does seem a decent shot stopper. And he is meant to be very highly rated so best to five him the benifit of the doubt.

Highly rated for good reason - he's Australian! All jokes aside the club has been involved in his development for years now... he's honestly the goalkeeper with the highest ceiling in the academy.

Time will tell but IMO he's a first team player waiting to happen.

I wonder how Michael Keane keeps getting into England youth squads? He's consistently terrible every time I see him.

Dare I suggest its a similar reason as Chambers waiting for his E first u21 cap, moves to Arsenal and a first call up to the full England squad follows after 2 games.

Its the big club syndrome that Sven Goran Eriksen codified as 'every england player should be playing CL (ie top 4 club)' But in Keane's case the FA seem not to have noticed the slippage in ManU credentiials !

we have some real talents in that age group. imo just as good as the ones in our u21/18s

Haven't really seen em properly but it definitely appears so. Looks like they keep getting better.

I struggle with the age groups but between the 3 recent England call ups and Marcus Edwards. And the talented players year below them like that Royin kid we must have a really strong age group there.

As mentioned good chance that Yahaya could be playing as it was mentioned he has played some and trianed with the u17s. Also Lazar good be included too.

Great news in general for our youth setup. u16s through to an International final beating some good teams along the way.

Winks, Onomah, Carroll, Pritchard, Kane, Dier and Ball all called up in their respective age groups. Always liked Ball thought and think he has done well to get himself some recognition. Not forgetting CCV and Goddard have played internationals recently.

Shame on Oduwa, Miller and Sonupe. Don't know how they decide when no real games have been payed but based off his last appearances alone thought Oduwa would have gotten another chance.

Spurs Under 16 are clearly doing well in S. Korea. I suspect the following players are in the squad :-

Alfie Whiteman (GK) - Eng U16 & U17
Keanan Bennett (MF/FW) - Germany U15 & England U16
Marcus Edwards (Att MF) - Eng U16 & U17
Japhet Tanganga (CB) - Eng U16
Jaden Brown (LB/LMF) - Eng U16
Kazaiah Sterling (LW)
Jack Roles (FW)
Bradley Rudd (RB)
Rares Lazar (CMF) - Romania U16

Really pulling for Rares Lazar, he has an absolute class name for a footballer. Destined for great things with a name like that.

One of the many things holding England back. When you see how well our academy (at all levels) not just in England but Int tourneys, it doesn't make sense how few get call ups to their age groups England teams.

u16's.........not sure what happened to Barcelona unless we have 2 teams out there.

But 'Champions' is something you cannot argue with !
