Strange that Loft didn't start. Seems to have got a lot of goals recently.

Agreed, but Loft starting means Harrison being played out of position. Think this is allowing Harriso a chance in his best position - and may also say Loft not considered so good as anthing other than a striker

Cameron Lancaster has finally found himself a new club for the season,
signed for Stevenage where some other former Spurs academy products are - Chris Day, Ronnie Henry, Charlie Lee, Dean Parrett. Straight into their first eleven and has scored what look to be their winning goal against Wimbledon

Good for the lad, who looked impressive in the one game he got for our first team, but sadly was set back too much by a long term injury

Lancaster was always injured - lets hope he can stay fit.

Had lost sight of Dean Parrett, another one who could do well at Stevenage and clinb the ladder from there

Dean Parrett is recovering from a long-term injury, hasn't played yet this seaason.

Pleased for Cameron Lancaster - hope he can build from that good start with Stevenage.

Yes Lancaster scored the winner yesterday on debut, Charlie Lee also scored.

Ronnie Henry and Chris Day are Stevenage legends. Met Day on a number of occasions, nice guy.

Parrett has been at Stevenage now for nearly a year, but he hasn't really nailed down a consistent run in the team. Few injuries too which haven't helped.

If we're not signing any more new players, then is there anyone that we can promote from the youth sides? Winks? Onomah? Oduwa?

???

Squad is still so big that there likely won't be promotions unless we get hit with a lot of injuries at a single position. Veljkovic is probably the closest to promotion, but CB and CDM seem to have the most bodies as is.

Tried to find out where the released academy players have gone.
Do anyone know whether these have found new clubs: Jon Miles, Laste Dombaxe, Michael Roman-Percil and Kane Vincent-Young?

Liam Priestley (Missouri State Bears, from the MS University)
Lawrence Vigouroux (Liverpool)
Kevin Stewart (Liverpool)
Giancarlo Gallifuoco (Swansea)
Darren McQueen (Ipswich)
Cameron Lancaster (Stevenage)

I did exactly the same a couple of days ago. I think Percil is playing for Concord Rangers in non-league but couldn't find a trace of the others.

goodness me

They can't all make it. If you consider how many players get released from each PL club's youth team every season, its amazing if all of them stay in football at some level.

There are ten names mentioned there, if every PL club released ten youth players a season there would be 200 players a season trying to find clubs at 72 odd football league clubs. Plus they are competing against the released players from years before, more experienced pros, the football league clubs youth players and so on. It's a very harsh environment if you struggle to make the grade.

I'm amazed that three of them have joined PL clubs!

my point was that ive seen Roman-Percil a few times and although you could see he wasnt the best i felt he had a little about him to keep him in the professional leagues at initially after leaving spurs

im fully aware that they all cant make it. ive played in the same teams as Wayne Routledge, Nigel Reo-Coker, Dean Leacock and Wade Small who apart from the latter still play pro footy. there was another guy who i played with around the same time who was in the same team with Small and Reo-Coker at Wimbledon and who i thought was the best of the lot but he struggled when he got to reserve level and dropped down the leagues before quitting all together.
