Out of curiosity what do you disagree with @alexis ?
Just don't think Scottish football especially lower division is enough. All over wharburton and get you thoughts on play and management style, but we can do much better for winks and a number of the others. Milo should go to villa maybe with onomah. We should look at QPR as well for others but not Rangers in that division.

No disrespect to Rangers, but hope we can find a higher class club for Winks, but happy to loan Rangers one of our less experienced players, who can still be a real asset to Rangers though
It is still a massive club though and to be part of getting them promoted would be something special for young Winks.

Club itself is huge and still attracts big crowds, should have got itself promoted last season, but did not. Problem I see is playing against some clubs in Scottish Championship which are more akin to League 2 or even Conference.

If that was the only criteria, but in my own experience from work: I went to a good school, but then after, I've learned far more from working in a struggling company where my input matters, than I ever did being a small, unimportant part of a huge international company.

"He's listed at just 6' tall, and part of me really wonders how accurate that is."

i concur, especially when ccv is listed as 6'1, there's no way veljkovic is the shorter of the two, surely?

I knew there was a point I was going to mention when I posted the link. Ye I'm pretty sure he is a bit taller than CCV too from memory. He is definitely not shorter. I assume the site is out of date since he has been at the club since he was 15.

Players develop by playing against better teams.

Problem is that Rangers are expect to beat the other teams in the Scottish Championship because Rangers (being so much bigger than the other clubs, much more wealthy) will have much better players than their opponents. So he will learn less.

In the English championship the teams will be more equal and standard of play of all teams better so he'll learn more.

However lets see what happens

He won't be playing against better players in the English championship than he will be at the spurs training sessions. This first is largely about going from boy to man. There is also the question of playing time, the quality of the traing sessions etc., but I think a few months in Glasgow will help him develop the mental side, through the media attention and the expectation to always win. I would presume that he will get plenty of maturing in Glasgow, and I also presume that his skills are not necessarly what needs developing most. But yes, we will see. He can probably always be recalled, if things don't work out.

Yup, but my basic point is Rangers are NOT in SPL but Scottish championship - and the English Championship is possibly better than the SPL, whilst Scottish Championship is maybe League 1/League 2 level

Maybe we see his future in midfield after all we have sold pretty much our whole midfield surly with only mason, bents, dembele left Milo's will get game time even if we buy another mid.

and carroll.

but let's be honest, if everyone was injured and the dm spot was available, poch would just move alderweireld there rather than play veljkovic.

I would be very surprised if he is under 6-2 most players are bigger when you meet them than you expect, he looked a good size and to have bulked up in the under 20s WC

And Alli.

I meant from last season

Maybe

Milo's would be a good option off the bench he can play two positions he has great passing and composure, next season there is no reason not to play him in the EL and sub appearances.
