In that case let's hope the Italian season keeps going all year...If that's the case my guess would be Benitez as we would have little reason to wait if it was Poch or FDB. Maybe we're waiting for Benitez to finish the season with Napoli before we announce anything.
Distance doesn't really mean anything though does it? All you need is a stable internet connection to conduct an interviewUnless FDB was agreed before Sherwood was sacked, it must be Poch as FDB is in Asia with Ajax until 18/05.

Sir Les fucking Ferdinand thank you very much...Love it. Instant respect from players. Instead of les fucking Ferdinand
JJ is saying it's done which suggests the contract is signed, not just interview conducted.Distance doesn't really mean anything though does it? All you need is a stable internet connection to conduct an interview
Levy has a highly operative fax machine, doesn't he?JJ is saying it's done which suggests the contract is signed, not just interview conducted.
Then for the first time I categorically do not believe him. While this process has obviously been in motion for a lot longer than the mere 12 hours since we announced that Tim was fired, I cannot accept that a man as calculating as Daniel would make, or been seen to make a snap decision without exploring every possible option.JJ is saying it's done which suggests the contract is signed, not just interview conducted.

Another reason I believe De Boer should be preferred to Pochettino (as well as reasons already posted) is his winning mentality as outlined by Patrick Kluivert:-
Speaking to ESPN, Kluivert enthused about his former teammate at Ajax and Barcelona. "Like Pep Guardiola as a player, you could see Frank would become a trainer," Kluivert said.
"He is a winner. He wanted to win everything, even card games, anything other than football, he wanted to win, and that's the most important thing everybody needs to have. That's the most important thing, that you are a winner".
He has shown this through his playing career and his record breaking 4 league titles at Ajax as manager.
The reason Fergie was so successful was because of this mentality, he hated to lose any game and he managed to instill this in his players.
This is what worries me about Pochettino, his supporters talk about his playing philosophy which is obviously important, but is he a winner ? His managerial experience is at 2 clubs that are not expected to win many games, can he cope with the extra pressure of expectation at Spurs and turn our mentally fragile players into winners?
I'm not sure he can and that is why I would prefer De Boer as he has the philosophy as well as the winning mentality that our club needs.
It's not like JJetset is always right, hopefully he is wrong again. Pochettino would be a mistake, I can't put my finger on why but he just doesn't seem right. Yes we might have free flowing dazzling football again, but it will be capitulation galore again too.
Wonder how many of those backing or slating Poch/FDB have watched Soton/Ajax more than a handful of times...
