Question - do people come off of the list on their 100th birthday, or do we lose points for every year over that?

At 100 you get Zero points.
After 100 you get a minus for every year....look at Kirk Douglas, he cost a few of us -3 points as did Olivia de Haviland....

Just looking at my team and there's quite a few celebrities who deserve a pat on the back for getting their lives back together, or just for still being about for whatever reason (How is Liza Minelli still alive? Didn't they take away a leg to reduce the strain on her heart or something, like, ten years ago??) but I am really going for low-probability-high-points with mine, huh? I was clearly feeling morbid when I picked em.

I‘m still not sure what this means? Does being ‘sentenced to death’ mean the celebrity has already been picked? I’m not sure too many celebs are on a literal death row.

"Sentenced to death" = sitting on death row awaiting hanging, firing squad, lethal injection, stoning, thrown off a hotel roof, etc.
"Anyone who has been diagnosed with a serious illness" = life threatening illnesses and diseases that have been diagnosed by drs, consultant, specialist etc.
For example, Martina Navratilova is no longer available because of her very recent diagnosis.
