Our batting has struggled against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and now Australia.

Having watched India today I honestly believe they have the best bowling out attack in this World Cup along with the best spin attack for a turning pitch on Sunday.... not feeling good about Sunday if I’m honest and now Pakistan have a second wind too ?

Anyone else watching some of the games on sky recorded highlights? (Or hits as they're called)

The whole thing had been a fucking joke.

Not seen one game start when it's supposed to. About three recordings have started with 15 minutes of discussions about the result:banghead:. Others have started with bite sized highlights (a different programme entirely) and today's game recording started with south Africa 160-1

Any terrestrial channels airing highlights?

No Bhuvenevesh at the moment and no Dhawan. Dont think Dhawan will be back the tournament, BKS maybe back for semis

More enthralling games with lowish scores and pitches helping the bowlers.
England seem geared up for a different kind of contest closer to T20.
But it's the class players that are showing up
and conditions are helping the level headed players with all round technique
honed in 3 day games and tests.
If England win and they still might it sends a sorry one dimensional message to cricket followers.

NZ fans have got masks of Steve Smith crying at that press conference lol.

NZ have got to stand out in that heat wearing Black, they're probably used to it but fuck that.

Afghanistan blew that big time.
Why did the captain bring himself on to bowl when they where struggling with spin so much?

Gutted for Afghanistan, and the captain Gulbadin. But he totally ballsed that right up, by deciding to bowl himself at the end.

Gotta beat India tomorrow.

Sadly it was not to be.
They cannot field.

They should have carried on with the spinners. Some poor tactics and bowling changes too.
Sadly I think England need to win the last 2 games to go through and I can’t see that happening tbh

Can't disagree - we have looked all at sea yet again in a big tournament.

Perfect opportunity for England to show some guts in the next 2 matches.
Im not at all confident they will, but if they don't, they deserve all the stick they've been getting recently.

We have looked good in some matches and poor in others.
I think this tournament has showed that our batters are flat track bullies. I fear the worst for tomorrow playing India on a spinning pitch, I’m praying we win toss and bat first

Guys and gals I need your help here and where better to find some answers?

I'm a fairly recent convert to the lovely sport of cricket and I've watched every World Cup match so far, and I've got myself a membership for The Oval. I'm watching as much cricket as I can and I love it love it love it.

But...

My problem is getting my head around why some DRS and umpires decisions are based on whether the ball has pitched inside or outside the line. Some decisions are given out even if the ball has clearly pitched outside the line but has hit the pads, in the umpire's opinion on the way to hitting the stumps and I'm struggling to get the rules clear in my head.

Does the ball need to pitch inside the line or not?

I'd be very grateful for any clarification. Cheers.

I don't understand half of it myself :D

But here's a couple of articles that might be helpful, don't know how up to date they are though.
