Really depends who you're talking about.
Liverpool are ridiculous in how they go about it and just throw as much money as it needs to get it done. That's no way to run a football club.
City, Chelsea pretty much as above, they can do what they like cos they endless cash.
Arsenal have only bought Cech. Exciting.

Let's be clear, we've addressed our most pressing need early in the window. Our defence. We conceded as many goals as relegated Burnley last season but scored I think it was either 4th or 5th most.
We absolutely need attacking players, no question, but when you really think about it, it will be as much for depth and rotation options as anything else.
Had Mason had more of a pre-season then he would've likely started against Utd instead of Dier. So our midfield and attack would have been as strong as it was last season, which was pretty strong.
Yes we absolutely could have signed Cabaye, Ayew, Shaqiri or Payet but I trust Poch/Mitchell that they know they aren't who we need for this team. We have to be smarter and if that means it's a little harder to do the deals we want then we have to be patient and stop assuming that we know better when we clearly don't.

I've got an article somewhere from about 10 years ago where Levy talks about how he reads them, but has to stop himself posting to correct people because it would be so futile.

I think he'd a relatively low risk signing. He has a decent PL pedigree but more importantly, he's young and he's homegrown. If he doesn't make it a success at spurs, we are highly unlikely to make a Soldado style hit on him. If we can get him for 15m fixed fee with the rest based on add ons and selling on clauses, I think we will have done very well.

The frustration comes from the fact that we dont need a great overhaul like say pool have done, but Just a couple of additions which could have such a positive impact on our season.
It does seem like we drag our heels in getting deals done lets hope for the best part the itk is correct and we address the squad and back the manager.
Apparently Manure want Kane[or any other striker] and Ramos. Currently have neither.
City want De Bruyne. currently not got him.
Chelski want Stone. He is not there .
With all the money in the world they haven't been able to complete their squads before the season started.
Lets all calm down and wait.

See I don't think that's true.
I think there are 100 page threads on certain players on KopTalk. But we just don't care about their "inside information". We focus on Spurs stuff and we don't hear of their transfer sagas. We just suddenly hear that a deal has been done, assume that because we haven't heard anything about it that it has happened instantly which is just simply not the case.

It would be rather nice if we discussed ITK in here and not your frustration at our transfer policy or how long/when we make signings. We've always been this way. Always. For us and for other clubs. You want business done early? Write to chrome dome……...It isn't going to change now and worse, it isn't for this thread.
I'm not Levy's biggest fan but even I understand that it isn't like pulling a rabbit out of his arse but it isn't even that, its now got to the stage where the same people are saying the same things. "If we sign player X,Y and Z it'll be a great window"…….Really? No shit Sherlock. Or the fantasy 'why Berahino isn't done/when will Berahino be done' stuff…….take it to his thread, its being talked about in there too you know.
It would just be nice not to have to trawl through pages of pretty much the same thing every day, the same soundbites, the same arguments……...we get it, some of you are unhappy. It isn't the opinions that are depressing, its the repetative nature of them…………For the love of god give it a fucking rest, its making my eyes bleed.
