Agreed. I was just replying to Yido_...'s assertion that we could add another 15m to the kitty from the Sissoko sale.

Whatever we get for Sissoko will go in this year's kitty. I htink Yido was assuming we could get £15M for him. Its like rolling over a fund - you take whatever you have left - profit or loss - and move it into a new fund.

We bought Sissoko 30m at 6m per year - so we still owe 24m. To make 15m, we would have to sell him for £39m. Unlikely.

I would say almost all of our transfers are done in increments Sissoko isnt a special case its just more reported. Just like money coming in is done in increments as well. There are for more financially aware people on the forum but this is nothing knew hence we would consider any money from that sale towards player spend as we always do.

As an example we had made the 30m we spent on sissoko from other player sales. If we recouped 30m we would spend or have available to spend the 30m. If we recoup 15m we will spend 15m.

If we improve our overall squad it will be a good window ....if we make big improvements to our overall squad it will be a brilliant window, whoever leaves.

When are people going to get that this management team is about team and not individual?

Agree the bale money was poorly invested. However, Bale papered over the cracks of how bad that squad was. If we have 40-60m to replace a right back and strengthen it should be a different matter.
