I'm liking the influx of youth we are getting/trying to get. Shows Levy is looking to the future, and also these players will qualify for home grown (and not take up any squad places until they are 21)

I think they'll be a lot older than that before they trouble our first team squad.

Speaking of Downing, its a real shame we bulked at the respective prices for both him and Young when they left their previous clubs to sign for Villa (I remember us being in for both)

Although I guess you could suggest had we signed those to we may not have seen the same development in Bale and might not have signed VDV.

None the less 2 talented young English players who increased in value.
