ali z: Latest I hear we will get 4 in including saints keeper, sanchez and Barkley ( will be last deal) and somewhat surprisingly diop. Slightly dissaponted by no RB or pacy wide forward type not coming in but what i heard.
Thanks for this, dov. Could really do with a pacy wide forward, an upgrade on GNK.
FWIW JJ 'agreed' with this post about Keita, so he seems to think we're still after another attacker:upset that we're once again not addressing our wide forward issue. We're seriously lacking pace in this team apart from Son.
Let's not get disappointed given JJ had already said it was off. Indications we're still looking for an attacking player so I wouldn't worry.

This would make it an unbelievable window if it all transpires. Whether or not we want a wide forward, our play certainly isn't predicated on having one, and if KWP is getting his chance I'm all for that. Depth in AM would be great, CB options enhanced would be great, CM options enhanced would be great, I'll take all of that.ali z: Latest I hear we will get 4 in including saints keeper, sanchez and Barkley ( will be last deal) and somewhat surprisingly diop. Also asked about sessegnon told nothing new since June
Sessengon we want him but not this year.
He's had a year to impress Poch.Great to hear we are making moves in the market, but wouldn't it be worth giving GKN a chance?
Just as well you weren't in charge after Son's 1st season. He's had a year to impress Poch.
In terms of the pacy wide forward, maybe this year they've decided that if they can't get a true game changer then don't bother at all i.e N'jie, GKN, Sissoko

and not getting another right back. Balmy if Ali z is correct
Are we allowed to bash ITKs that post on other sites?
I always wanted Barkley, I will be happy with Sanchez and hopefully one or two more, whilst you may have a case for saying it isn't an unbelievable window you are wrong to the contrary, it is most definitely not a terrible outcome.[
Barkley, Sanchez, a third choice keeper and some kid is not an unbelievable window. Unless you meant in a poor way. People are becoming far too easily pleased simply because they want signings and its late. End of last season, most would agree that this plus the loss of Walker would be a terrible outcome, especially as most didn't even seem to want Barkley back then.
You go first and we'll see what happens.
It really shouldn't be too much for the premier league runners up to get a RB to replace the one they sold (to a direct rival no less), plus the pacy forward that we so obviously and desperately need.I'm also disappointed. Perhaps it was too much to expect both a RB and a pacy forward, but neither? Frustrating.
