Training Facilities Stadium etc, this is a sign of things to come zero being spent hardly but were have the best training facilities and ground that money can buy.

Meanwhile we languish mid table i can see all the top players breaking our door down cant you.

The fact is players have been available but Levy wont spend, our next kick in the pinapples is when Bales sold off we wont see that money reinvested either we at least not on the same callibre of player.

Hes stabilised us no doubt financially but holds us back as regards taking us forward.

jeeeeeeezus. 1. Not mid table. 2. Didn't we just sign Super Jan, who turned down big clubs to come, and Holtby wasn't exactly forced; see my sig. 3. We have progressed under Levy.

Mate, get to an optometrist: your eyes must be upside down.

Yeah, 17 in 52 (average of 0.33 goals per game) sounds poor doesn't it?

Do you think we should really be going for someone like Leandro Damiao (average 0.39 goals per game (28 in 72)) or Fernando Llorente (0.32 goals per game (95 in 295)) instead?

Sometimes stats don't give the full picture.
Good post!!, Also you have to factor in that he's playing for a small club with a fairly low budget for players, which makes his strike rate actually fairly impressive.

Willian would be awesome but surely this transfer would be harder to negotiate than Damiao and Moutinho!! Shakhtar as its been said do not need the money. OK the player is refusing to go back but will that stop them demanding £20m+ only a few days ago this was said to be out of our reach? Fingers crossed indeed but just as Damiao and Moutinho i wont get my hopes up.

said in the willian thread, the rus/ukr media dont usually send to print anything thats not over the line, they are highly scrutinised in everything that is to be published and vary rarely disclose info about their own affairs unless they can be assured of the degree of truth.

If there are actual legs to this Willian story (puts on special sceptical hat) then I do hope we're simply taking advantage of the situation and haven't helped create it wrt Willian going AWOL.

Either way, it doesn't speak well of his charatcer at all and ultimately, were he to join we'd have another Berba****/Modbitch situation ourselves at some point in the future. Would be a very welcome addition of genuine quality though and in a badly needed area in the meantime.
