I have no issues with Farfan as a player. Not sure how he would fit into our system, but mostly don't see how we are going to sign a player with a niggling hamstring tear that doesn't seem to be getting better. Also, for all the talk of Schalke's glut of forwards, they are playing a 4-4-2 under Ragnick so he would be more of a RW, not as a listed F. Ragnick really wants rid of Raul as he's a pain in the ass. Maybe he would get rid of both, but not Raul, KJH and Farfan. Although maybe he could solve his problem by giving Huntelaar's role to Raul and finding a false 9. But when he used Bouhmajon and Raul like this last year, it didn't work. While parts of Journo's info make some sense to me, others don't. Any system needs parts, KJH and Farfan fit the system better than Raul and Jones (especially now that they have Annan). And Blackburn are interested in Raul. I don't know.

Your mention of Annan has just jogged my memory of the fella. I was very impressed with him at the last WC, would have been an excellent alternative to Diarra/Parker at a fraction of the cost. Little pocket dynamo if I remember correctly.

Ackie has stuck by the idea that a player has until tomorrow to decide (player still unknown). Also mentioned blessings-Falcao and Kaka.

Journalist still confident on Huntelaar, Farfan and Tasci. Hasn't heard about a Spurs Cahill inquiry and would have due to Villa links.

So if City want him to go to Marseille and he wants to come to us this could drag on for longer than expected and we may not get him in time for the Utd game. It's just like the Gio/Seville/Udinese situation

Is Peter Odemwingie young :)

Odemwingie is Roger Milla incarnate...I tell yaEek

We've peaked

You should get Brett and a few other of the regulars to compete in a Pessimists Steeplechase, or summit. See who can go down the Jacob's Ladder of sheer unremmitting miserableness the fastest.

Ironically I beleive that the signings of two former gooners (ade and lass) would all but cement our place as the shadow makers in north London!

Get in that shadow you filthy scum

Once this is established, perhaps we could contact that venerable old gentleman Obscene Whinger about a permanent arrangement. Summit like:

Dear Obscene,
We hear you like to knead young boys.
Perhaps you could become our feeder-club.
Yours Up Here
Daniel Levy

Which prediction

not going to post the link because it isn't related to ITK in the RO section, but RM made a prediction that Modric would have an 'injury' come Thursday night....

suffice to say its in the mail tonight that he isn't expected to feature...

I honestly think its only to rest him for mondays match against utd. He's our key player in midfield and cant afford to lose him for that match.
I really hope Diarra is in before mondays match, we are going to need him in the middle.

If your on £175k a week your not going to join a club unless you want to, he'll just dig his heels in untill they / if they cave. So yes this one ould drag on like Jake the Peg

I wasn't expecting him to play either, especially after Sherwood said last year that we'd use the competition for the squad and fringe players.

Why are we still chasing Adebayor

CITY DONT WANNA DO BUSINESS WITH US

Theyll end up tagging us along for the next 2 weeks then screw us over

Fuck them off and start looking elsewhere before its to fucking late

Us and City actually have cordial relations at board level compared with most clubs. The fact we navigated the Corluka transfer minefield was testament of that.

So if City want him to go to Marseille and he wants to come to us this could drag on for longer than expected and we may not get him in time for the Utd game. It's just like the Gio/Seville/Udinese situation

The ideal situation would be for Marseille to get Drogba (who has promised to finish his career there anyway), giving us a free run on Adebayor.
