Dembele and Bolasie are very spursy players - all style but no substance. Building on our fine heritage of players like Atouba, Dominguez and Dalmat.

Scheinderlin is probably holding out for a CL club who in turn are holding out for some other player. We are making Imbula wait because we prefer Morgan. Imbula has stalled on Inter because he prefers THFC....

I just hope we've got our ducks in a row in relation to an alternative for Schneiderlin if we can't get it sorted out by the end of this month.

For me, sorting out that central midfield is almost the most important thing we need to do this Summer, so if we don't have someone sorted by the time pre-season properly gets rolling I'll be a bit concerned.

Mind you I'm still thoroughly confused about what sort of midfielder we need, as I'm still not sure I fully understand what type of midfielder Bentaleb and Mason are.

Considering how likely we are to miss out when we are very optimistic of a transfer like Schneiderlin I can't say 'guarded confidence' is going to get me excited. Can't see this one happening sadly.

Which is a shame as he would be perfect for us, a combination of Parker and Carrick, and the thought of him and Bentaleb forming a partnership would be very exciting.

However, I would fucking love it if he came to us, he is the closest thing to Aguero out there. No chance though that is all about wages and sign on fee for the agent...

I wish we'd stop wasting our time trying to sign Schneiderlin. Someone called it the other day as the geek trying to get the prom girl. Every year there is a player we chase for the whole window that then comes to nothing...
