i got the impression from Harry's interview that Modric will go - he said that he thinks something is still going on (modric situation) and when asked if it involved money and players being involved he said its dealt with by the chairman. Interviewer commented that we d be short if he went and harry said we d just have to get in a couple of new players and that even if he dont go we d still like to bolster the midfield. clearest sign yet for me that modric wont be here come sept 1st.

I think thatas aoon as the Adebayor deal is signed we will see Diara anounced shortly after. have a hunch that Levy has held off closing deals till Ade's signed and sealed cos City might get second thoughts selling to us [or hike the price up] if they think we are getting too strong. Once our business with City's done and dusted Levy will get things moving. I think weve even delayed selling so that we arent seen to be flush and so inflate prices of the players we want to get in.

As POTL and others have been saying Ade was 1 of our primary targets and once done the balss gonna get rolling.

If he is talking about many transfers going through it must be a case of One in one out, someone walking down the stairs someone walking up so to speak.

Obviously we can't only do transfers in pairs as we need to trim down to 25 man squad but I think we will have a few new players by Aug 31st as the ITK seems to be really heating up

"Oh Happy day, Oh Happy Day!" Great news! I imagine it would be a day or so untill the announcement though, we noramlly get a glut of ITK saying its almost there, or terms agreed, or done. Then we dont see anything for a day or so on the OS in the mean times we all start - "Where is he?" - "He said it was done" - "If terms are agreed why hasn't it been anounced" and then a day or so later *poof* new player! So a little more patience and I think we will see him, whoop whoop! :grin:

We've seen so many times with crptics that we can read so much into anything - we'll just get twenty pages of pears, pairs, stairs which will lead to ladders etc etc etc.

Hopefully its litterally one goes one comes - would be much simplier!
