Strange one Tevez going to Brazil, you would have thought one of Europe's top clubs would have been a more likely destination.
I bet this thread reaches 45 pages.
Also, good news about Pav IMO if JTG is correct.
Not fussed on pav staying would rather have defoe if he sorts himself out.
All the big teams going out of the Copa America may also kick the window into action a bit. Quite alot of the big names will now be able to complete deals (Tevez, Aguero, Sanchez, Falcao(maybe)) which will hopefully set the ball rolling.
I imagine we'll be pushing hard on Diarra/Parker this week now that Sandro is out for three months. Or we could just keep Palacios.

I think the next two weeks have to be big for us in this transfer window. I'm a bit concerned we haven't got rid of many of the fringe players but if we can have a few out and a couple in by 1st August I'll be happy.
Let's hope this week sees the likes of Gio, Keane and Hutton on the move. At least interest seems to be increasing in some of these players.
Agreed, lovign the ITK about Pav. By far our best ST last year. (assuming VdV is a CAM)
:-| Really, Defoe that multi-dimension forward, pace, power, hold up, never off side, unselfish and mostly consistantly prolific? Yeah I want the at Defoe too
This. I think the sooner these guys come home the quicker we'll see deals done.
I suppose with his reason for leaving being his family, it would have looked a bit off if he'd only moved to another country in Europe.
The more surprising thing is where on earth did Corinthians get 39m from?
Which is a back handed compliment in many ways...Seriously the Pav love in on here is ridiculous, the guy is nowhere near good enough, so much of his game is lacking its unreal...

I'll say this now but I think a Mr. Falcao is far more likely to replace Tevez at City than Aguero
I think there are 2 aspects of his game lacking. Determination and decision making.
Fix those and we are sorted.
I dunno. It's pretty rare for a manager to come out and talk about a player, like Mancini did about Aguero, without having a pretty high level of interest.
I do think that Falcao's new contract was just a way to boost his value when Porto sell, but I think he'll go to Chelsea with Villas-Boas.
Brazilian football just signed up to a massive TV rights deal similar to Sky although not as much. Hence, Brazil has money slushing around its football clubs
We onlt get orangesI agree, and going by the snippets of ITK and the paper talk it does seem that DL is working hard to pull off a few signings (ooer missus) and that other clubs are starting to negotiate with us for our players.
I'm still remaining optimistic for the moment.

You are probably right mate. I just think the Aguero transfer has Real Madrid written all over it.
A few of the papers seemed to think Real had Neymar sewn up and it was merely a question of whether he'd join now or in January.
Would they go for Aguero and Neymar?
