I'm more worried about lack of centre mid. I feel we have taken our eye off the ball there and gone all out for a striker. At least up front we have Chadli, Adebayor still around (he's going to have to be used now, its silly not to), and the two new signings who could probably do a job through the centre in the odd game to back up Kane. We needed the right player in the centre of the park more in my opinion.
yeah, easily forgot that our midfield options are;

Dier (actually a central defender)

Mason

Bentaleb

Alli

Dembele

Question marks over all of them at centre mid for me... What the fuck is the best pairing out of that lot?

Disagree. We had been told it would be accepted. Seems they had promises broken to them as well.

Other deals broke down as well after we was told they would go.

Thats why you dont put all your eggs in one basket!! You have backup plans...obviously we didn't!

Plan B on deadline day is a must...we put in 4 bids for a guy who was never going to be sold to us.

It pains me to say it, but we will new fighting for 6-8 with Swansea, West Brom, Everton etc. When was the last time we had a well rounded and balanced squad?

Gutted for Lloris. The only protection he has in front of his oft-shaky defense is a recent CB turned DM that will inevitably get injured. I love love love Dier but no single player, especially young, should have a vital responsibility placed on his and his only shoulders for four competitions over an entire season with no backup. Same goes for Kane.

I just hope the ITKers are respected during this meltdown period. No questions should be asked of them. I'm sure all was offered up in good faith with good sources.

One person only to blame for this gross negligence and insult to both fans and existing players. Levy.

Just a quick shout out to @Trix @JJetset @Grey Fox @dovahkiin and everyone one else who contributed ITK, or just whored it from somewhere. It been an entertaining few months! I enjoyed all the ups and downs that come with the territory. Thanks for the efforts.

Now, the melt down can continue.

This years epic Levy transfer fail was as predictable as it is infuriating.

I declare this man officially too stupid to learn from his own mistakes.

Levy? Fail fail fail fail fail fail and then... fail

It's true that Lessons have been learned, Levy learned that he can mug off the fans and hamstring the manager every year, whilst selling the dream of top four aspirations to new players and sponsors. Sadly I think that will be that, we do not have the players to compete at any level this year, we have one recognised centre forward, and sold our only other striker for a nominal fee. We have a centre back starting in central midfield when the squad is fully fit. I will be shocked if Pochettino, Lloris or Vertonghen are here are the start of next season. Swansea, Palace, West Brom, West Ham, all signed players that would have improved us, I'm really not sure how we go forward from here, but in all honesty it would be a miracle if we finished in the top six with the squad as it. Utterly predictable, utterly pathetic.

I'm not sure if the worst part about this is that it feels like a summer of ITK time completely wasted or having to admit that all the meltdown talk I've been rolling my eyes at for weeks is now completely, totally validated.
Well, both really.

The difficulty with ITK is that it's all on our side. There's rarely any information on what the other club thinks or wants to do. Look at all the speculation about Jeremy Peace and his motives. Peace posted on the WBA site some time ago that Berahino would not be sold. Now everyone (including the player) seems shocked that he kept his word.

I posted my disappointment about the dealings about a month ago and was slammed because "there's another xx weeks to go".

If he had a shred of common sense, Levy should fire himself from transfer dealings now.

The lot of you who are moaning about Levy need to fucking man up and have the strength of your convictions. More than once there's been a massive fallout against chrome dome when the window closes and you all give it large for a day or so then vanish leaving just a handful of hardy souls battling the BSoDL in the Levy thread in Spurs Chat. So just for once, get in there and give it some. And keep giving it some. And then carry on some more. Nothing will change until its realised that more and more people are turning. 5m plus add ons? ****.

Ahhhhhhhhhh! I feel better now.

I didn't mean any of it really :cautious:
