Another summer transfer window slips by, another season woefully short up front, another young star soon to be ruined, probably another manager to be shortly shown the door because he 'failed' to make us competitive with the big boys, another round of 'shrewd' Danny boy dealing!!! What a fucking joke!!!!

Those people, me included, saw this coming. We weren't going to get in son for 22 mill then berahino without selling loads. Net spend almost exactly zero again. Part of me almost wants Kane to get injured so levy can take some serious stick. What a complete joke. Long 4 months ahead and I'm now not looking fwrd to it

Why 4 months, don't you know that there's no one decent for sale in Jan and the only time players that can improve us are sold in the summer. Poch under pressure already and if we don't get many points in the next 6-8 games then he'll pay the price. #sameold

You guys are so funny, it's a shame, aye, we didn't get the striker we wanted or another DM but, Jesus, we're not suddenly shit. Kane will be rested for the EL games and, whilst, we're an injury away from serious trouble, with strengthened our squad and Poch seems to have unearthed a gem in Dier at CM. I'd have loved Berahino but, well, shit happens. You lot get far too worked up over this, do you not have anything else in your lives?

No not suddenly shit, but you have to admit, we've not been good for at least a few months! You can count the number of good games we've had in the last 6 months on 1 hand! Apart fromeriksen and Harry Kane scoring late goals or Kane carrying Us For the last 3 months of last season, and the start of this season has hardly been inspring has it! I'm not going into full meltdown, but you can't argue the fact, it's almost suicidal if Kane gets injured and we have NO recognised striker for a period of time.

Overall it was a decent window, we have bought in some great talent so lets have a bit of faith with the team. The end of the window was bitter sweet, it always is with Spurs.

Another positive thing from this window is that it has hopefully finally shattered this image held up by a fair few fans that Levy is some amazing negotiator that is always in control and will win any negotiation. Some you lose and some you lose, and sometimes you get strung along. Happens to the best of us, just so happens that it happened to Levy so publicly. Got to admit, he has had it coming. :ROFLMAO:

Also if we're so skint that we have to penny pinch, why didn't we pick up the likes of Ayew early in the window on a free?

There was value to be had this summer... We spent far too long chasing targets that at the end of the day, we just weren't willing to cough up for.

Levy all over.
Surely that should be a criticism of Mitchell, Broomfield, Baldinin, Pochettino etc?

It's not a good day for us, but before we go to hard into Levy just remember who he is and what he's done to our club.

Remember where we were before he took over (in 11 years, we only finished 3 times in the top half of the table). He did an amazing job here and he's a great chairman. He has his flaws but he's done us a world of good.
Not this crap again.

Let's get Burkinshaw back as manager then. Or maybe we should resign Greaves and Hoddle to improve the first 11.

Come on we should judge people on any history other than recent history.

Is it that crazy? Chelsea had Drogba as an experienced backup last year, and he's a player who once had pace.

Levy's ego would never have it though I guess.
Not crazy at all. I always thought a twighlight proven goalscorer was the perfect back up to Kane.

Gutted. Annoyed for thinking it would be any different.

3 points from 12, boos ringing out at WHL in our 2nd game of the season. A very real possibility that things go pear shaped for Poch very quickly and we get an AVB repeat.

Fuck Daniel Levy, ****.
except the booing was aimed at the ref.

It's not great but, if you'll excuse me, I'm not going to kill myself over it (y)

I think we're all supporters fella. If you don't care what goes on upstairs, then imo you are blind.

Why would I care about what I can't have the slightest affect on?

I care that I get to see a Tottenham Hotspur team to watch each week and, as far as I'm aware, that's still very much the case.

Were there other available and suitable Strikers out there for circa 25 million?

Obvious Austin was an option but other than that (given United paid 36 mill for Martial) just what alternatives did we miss out on?

One positive- Yedlin on loan to a Sunderland, a PL side, could work-out very well in the long term- just like with Rose.

At least our kids will be a year older and more mature now - obviously making them all better players right? And come end of season they will be even better?

Jokes aside, what an opportunity for some of them to step up. I mean against Everton all I kept thinking about was 'get Alli and Pritchard on now!' Poor lads hardly played any PL and I was hoping they would change the game for us.

I think the saddest thing for me is that we've gone from having a team full of stars to a team full of young hopefuls....a term I usually hear associated with a team near the bottom of the table and reshaping like Villa
