What if RM bought a player then immediately loaned him out? Neymar, Lukaku - someone like that. Pure speculation

Me to. Do Real have any other younger strikers who they may be more likely to loan out? I just don't see why they'd get rid of Benzema on loan when they don't have that many out and out strikers as it is.

And even if Benzema was available on loan, I honestly don`t believe that we would be the pick of his options.

But Benzema scored a bagful of goals for them last season..........why would they loan him out?
Crazy talk.

that may be the case but i don't think JM is fooled by a CF scoring goals in what is an amazing team in all the games any CF would likely score goals in. If JM is ahppy with finishing 2nd in la liga and the quarters of the CL then he'd be happy starting with BEnzema. Knowing him as we do i actually think the idea that benzema will be in Madrid starting line up is the crazy talk.

Would JM keep him as an option YEs would he keep him as an option when the player has expressed a strong desire to be a starter? NO it hink they'll let him play football and get soemone like Adebyor who will be a far more greatful and paitent squad player.

Thats quite plausible actually, like Chelsea did with the young keeper, good thinking.

Benzema is staying at Madrid. No amount of reasoning will convince my rational mind that Madrid will loan out a £30m player that hit good form towards the end of las season.

Can you really see RM paying City £xM's plus his massive wages then loaning him out to us (on lesser wages) just so they can have 1st option on a player in the future?

Crazy if you ask me

Since when did Real do "rational"?! :)

Why would they pay City for either of those players? They don't belong to city.

rebrab was saying that they may buy one of those players then loan them out (Lukuka wants first team football and he isn't really ready for it at a top club)

If Leandro is sorted for January, would we still bring in two strikers in this window?

Maybe if one of them was on loan that would make sense. It would give Leandro 6 months to adapt and wouldn't leave us with the risk of having no new strikers.

I suppose the question about a Benzema loan is what would Real gain from it? If Jose wanted rid, and I agree with Triks that he might, why wouldn't he sell him?

I don't think Jose could have said anything else tbh when ask about benzema, he was hardly going to say "oh yes we're to loan him to spurs but its not arranged yet" its not likely but its not as far fetched as Kaka

Ronaldo is the only player untouchable at Madrid, they don't give a monkey's fuck about the players if they're not having success!

i think in context to spurs the player himself might not want to be bought but might consider a shop window loan spell to truely convince old admirers UTD et al that he's the player they once thought. I think there are clubs (PSG, ARsenal, UTD etc) that selling to would be the prefered option for JM and the player.

I suppose there is a sort of security in a loan deal, in that if you do end up with injuries in that position, or perhaps someone you bring in doesn't fit the team or has a nosedive form-wise, then you've got the option to recall a player that knows the team and is already proven at that level.

I may be mistaken but most loans of the bigger players don't have a recall option. For example I don't think we could recall Walker or O'Hara last season could we?

This is one thing that never ceases to amaze me about this forum. No matter how tenous the link and how big the player is SC always finds a way to argue that player X would come to spurs. Even though everyone knows in their heart of hearts it will never happen!

The board don't want to sell. Such is Jose's volatility, I think they suspect that he could be gone quite soon if things start going badly or next summer at least.

They don't want to sell the family silver in the meantime so a loan could work out well for them if it is clear that Jose will not give Benzema the match time he needs/wants.

Very sensible. Would work. Hope its not too complicated for the Spurs management to work out.

i would actually be hesitant loaning in anyone on any terms you consider to be in the starting 11 So i certainly think you couldn't possibly loan a player you consider vital to the starting team and then allow a recall option. WE'd be stupid to agree to something like that.
