It's my 4th wedding anniversary today bitches. Sadly for me, i'm not getting away with watching tonight's game, sneakily tried too, but failed due to an attempt at a romantic meal. Note to A&C, where was they 'EYE' yesterday, by my reckoning about 50% of accounts would be suspended currently, but the ITK chat would be of a better quality :sneaky:

The Goat's info doesn't rule it out either. He's been told that Schneiderlin has 'accepted' the situation, that doesn't mean he's happy with it or that a deal will not happen, just that he'll get his head down and play, which would seem to be accurate as he was picked in their first game of the season. It wouldn't surprise me either way on this one.

But deep down, i'm expecting another Moutinho moment. Expectation, we tried, we tried hard, wasn't our fault, sorry Poch, here, have Carlton Palmer instead.

Yeah, that's about where I am on this too. If a deal was imminent, or at the very least, far enough along that it was close to concluding, MS would have been nowhere near the squad.

He's obviously accepted that it's quite likely he'll be sticking around. If he really wanted to force it, he'd have pulled a Berbatov on Saturday. He didn't. We clearly arn't putting pressure on him to do so/he doesn't want to. So, yeah, it's the transfer window and anything can happen, but it's clear that presently, this deal is on the face of things, unlikely.

The Eye was a one off, but yeah, you're right, it should have been used yesterday. Maybe it'll make a comeback. Today even.

Yes bitches. The Eye. Beware The Eye.

South Coast Big Club.

IIRC it originated with their former chairman Rupert Lowe, possibly when we got Hoddle, he said something like we're as big a club as Spurs. Hence SCBC. That's how I remember it anyway and as usual, i'm probably fucking senile.

Pretty much on the nail, although he actually claimed Southampton were bigger than Spurs...

As a result of this, not only did some Spurs fans take to calling them 'South Coast Big Club', but they also renamed their chairman Rupert Lowe-Self-Esteem...

His subsequent fall from grace was highly enjoyable.

A&C's tip for a top, top 'triffic romantic meal. Backscuttle the mrs in front of the TV while the game is on. Rest your plate on the small of her back. Say Happy Anniversary darling.

If you're lucky, Spurs will score as your on your vinegar strokes.

So do you have your razor blades ready...... FFS!
This place will need a health warning soon
This is baby stuff in the depression-o-meter. It's nowhere near Arshavin-gate, Willian-gate, Moutinho-gate in the oh woe is me, pass the rubber knife stakes.

Both deals are looking more and more distant now and i concur with that goat.
Neither are technically Off but as of today both are not looking likely or that they will happen.
Its been very difficult to get players out of clubs and that includes our ones leaving as well.
Things change quickly blah blah blah but lets hope things do change on this and we are successful.
See what happens when i be positive about deals! I'm much better pooh poohing.

We've had deals disappear before then suddenly wake up in late August when people realise they are not getting paid.

I'll hold off on the wailing and teeth gnashing.

Regards Schneiderlin, I maintain Bentaleb can do his job.

Well my take..... I would be amazed if there is not one major incoming / outgoing deal to cover the same position. Is MS or MM really worth north of £20m when you compare to what we already have ? The squad has had £m's spent on it, and let's see how they get on. I for one would love to have a couple of new additions, but the squad in reality is excellent already.

I hope we've got a back up to MM because I wouldn't feel remotely confident going with our current CB options...

Sounds as though no business is happening on MM/MS

Sounds like no business is happening anywhere.

Daniel Levy is sitting alone in his office staring at his phone like a forlorn 16 year old waiting for a reply to a text message he'd sent 3 weeks ago.

The person who negged JJ's update is out of here.

We're not going to keep repeating our position on this.
