Would Wanyama get in any of those teams?
It's not about what teams he would and would not get into. The question is can he add something to the squad and the answer to that is yes.Would Wanyama get in any of those teams?
Wanyama is cover for Dier, well at least we all hope. Dembele is Dier's partner. That is not up for any debate. That was the best CM partnership in the league last season. We need adequate cover for Dembele now too. Im not entirely sure we have that at the momenteveryone saying about wanyama and dier isn't creative enough isnt that what the 3 in front of them are for. not many dm's are also creative cant think of any that could do a defensive job like wanyama and yet are still a creative player
Winks . . .Any idea of the playmaker ?
Funny you should say that - because with Dier and Wanyama holding at his disposal I could see Poch more likely throwing in someone like Winks alongside. Especially if one of Carroll and Mason is let go.Winks . . .
how do you know? He might speak beautifully!I think he'll be useful against physical Premier league sides, particularly when we're coming off the back of a CL Wednesday/ weekend sequence. He's not eloquent, but he doesn't need to be. He's as strong as an ox, clearly buys into Poch's way of doing things and will give us a real physical presence when needed. I think he might surprise a few people and he was a better player under Poch than he was the season just gone. A pragmatic, non-glamourous but necessary signing.

Signed a new contract in March, less than a year after his previous one, so clearly impressing in training.Funny you should say that - because with Dier and Wanyama holding at his disposal I could see Poch more likely throwing in someone like Winks alongside. To be able to slot in a rejuvenated Bentaleb and Wanyama and rest Dier and Dembele in a mid week game is a big improvement on last season.

We could get info on bloody Ronaldo & there'd be a moaning contingentI don't understand people moaning about Wanyama. Have they even watched him play? Ever? He'd be a good addition to the squad & would increase competition for places in the midfield 2! That is surely a positive.
He gives us the option of two genuine defensive midfielders then, something we can't say we currently have with Mason, Carroll or Bentaleb!
