I assume you mean that they dont spend big money on players?

They will spend money, but only within their strict financial rules. That's why only Bayern can have a "war chest" as they are the only club that have excess riches.

Now Wolfsburg will spend. Take for example two weeks ago when they spent 3 million euros on a RB named Patrick Ochs who is significantly better than Hutton. The problem here is that people think they have all this money from Dzeko but that money was spent on the likes of Diego and Kjaer knowing they would sell him soon enough.

I believe Roger that they have interest in our players. My first thought would be Pavs. But to imply they have millions that they are going to hand over to us for our bit players is not going to happen.

Lukaku signing for us would make sense, he isn't going to get much game time at City or Chelsea whereas with us he would be a regular

Got to find it tough to believe we've agreed a deal for one of Europe's hottest young strikers for a club record fee without there being some noise about it.

Is that a definite done deal? David de Gea, could go either way that signing. Massive Success or a Massimo Taibi!

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea has decided to sign for Manchester United following the agreement of a £17 million deal between the two clubs.

The fee was agreed around two months ago, with agent Jorge Mendes at the centre of negotiations, but the player needed time to make up his mind regarding his future. The young keeper has risen to prominence in a very short space of time and after establishing himself as the number one choice in this, his second season in the first team at his hometown club, was unsure whether he was ready to leave the familiar surroundings of home and move to the Premier League so early in his career. However, de Gea has now told his team mates at Atletico that is leaving to join Manchester United and that his parents and girlfriend will be joining him in England.

An official announcement could be made on Monday, but a delay is possible while the player resolves a contactual issue with his agents.

Ballague just said we've put a bid in for Osvaldo, but we'll need to put more money on the table

I doubt any of our english players would go to Wolfsburg. That's the problem with buying mainly english players, they don't tend to go to teams abroad. Its mush easier to sell foreign players to teams abroad as they have already made the decision to ply there trade away from home so it makes no odds where they play.

I could see Palacios or Kranjcar making the step but not Jenas, Hutton or Defoe.

Although you are normally right, Jenas has made it clear in the past he is open to a move abroad

Seem to remember him being in a relationship with a GIRL who had a kid with her first bloke, hence couldnt move the kid abroad. iirc.

If I had a pound for everytime Spurs did that, I could probably fund the striker purchase myself!

Massive success IMO. Will be their keeper for the next decade

Thats the difference between Red nose and Harry, he buys players that he needs and for the future, Harry buys players we really do not need , just to do a deal, IE Parker not for the future.

tbf Jenas 5m-7m, Hutton 4m-6m, Wilson 7m-9m, Pav 9m-12 It will take those kind of prices to get these players, they have spent a lot more then that before. They wont buy all of them but they are looking at them I suspect

Can Harry bashing be banned?
