Onomah leaving on a permanent deal would be a gutter. Sends out all the wrong signals to the talent we have coming through the ranks too.

If Josh is off I totally trust Pochettinos judgement at whatever he's seen behind the scenes to convince him that his future is better elsewhere. I remember reading that after he won the u19 World Cup last year that he came back to Tottenham a little arrogant. Those kind of things of true will be playing a part in Mauricios thought process when it comes to the movers and shakers when freeing up a bit of squad space

If those kids dont make it here I'm sure they will have good careers at other clubs. If we dont think they can do it for us then it's best for everybody that they move on.

Onomah is not good enough for our first team, he's nowhere near the level required from what I've seen of him so I'd be happy for him to be gone if it's gonna help us strengthen the first 11.
Careful mate, you'll be attacked by the lads from the yoof thread.

What is the message we should send though? Even if you don't fulfil you're talent you can still stay at the club? I'd love to see Josh become a first team player but it seems to be looking less and less likely, it'd be a bloody shame but football is an unsentimental business at this level.
Absolutely- and if we played him and he wasn’t good enough for the level we are, we’d get the arse with him quick enough.

Would you rather him be like defendi was, spend years here but not be good enough to get in the team?

Who knows the details, we might put a buyback option in.

A lot of assumptions that one of the players is Onomah, personally I don’t think it is, not a perm anyway. Surely more likely to be CCV? New contract to increase sales value? IIRC didn’t impress out on loan.

A&C Literally told us the players though

Didnt A&C just say it was Onomah?

Personally dont rate him anywhere near as highly as other on here, would be more than happy if he were a makeweight in the Grealish deal

Onomah has never ever delivered when he's been given the chance for Spurs in the first team. He's actually looked really poor. Remember the league cup game against Liverpool at Anfield. He was terrible. I don't think he's played for us since.

It's such a big step up to play for Spurs nowadays. It's really difficult to do it from the academy. Even Winks is struggling to be anything more than a squad player for us and IMO unless Winks improves will end up at a midtable PL side eventually.

I mean he literally dictated our biggest games of last season then got injured. Don't think you're giving Onomah a fair crack either.

Palace I hope! Could be anywhere though, but would be good if it were loans tied up to one of our potential signings. Maybe United? :ROFLMAO:

Running out of time to find a replacement CB. So if Toby and Poch can kiss and makeup, that's fine by me.
