Sends out all the wrong signals to the talent we have coming through the ranks too.
If the club decide you're not good enough you'll be sold? Not sure how that's a wrong signal. There's no room for sympathy here.

Onomah leaving on a permanent deal would be a gutter. Sends out all the wrong signals to the talent we have coming through the ranks too.
Careful mate, you'll be attacked by the lads from the yoof thread.Onomah is not good enough for our first team, he's nowhere near the level required from what I've seen of him so I'd be happy for him to be gone if it's gonna help us strengthen the first 11.
Absolutely- and if we played him and he wasn’t good enough for the level we are, we’d get the arse with him quick enough. What is the message we should send though? Even if you don't fulfil you're talent you can still stay at the club? I'd love to see Josh become a first team player but it seems to be looking less and less likely, it'd be a bloody shame but football is an unsentimental business at this level.
The Goat was referring to Onomah and Edwards so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

A lot of assumptions that one of the players is Onomah, personally I don’t think it is, not a perm anyway. Surely more likely to be CCV? New contract to increase sales value? IIRC didn’t impress out on loan.

SlowlyNo he just writes for the goat. How do you expect the goat to type with those hooves?
Its the Goat mate so half the people here now assume its a cryptic for players named Hooman and SewarddDidnt A&C just say it was Onomah?
Personally dont rate him anywhere near as highly as other on here, would be more than happy if he were a makeweight in the Grealish deal
Ah, that’s why, missed that. Cheers."The Goat was referring to Onomah and Edwards so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out."

Onomah has never ever delivered when he's been given the chance for Spurs in the first team. He's actually looked really poor. Remember the league cup game against Liverpool at Anfield. He was terrible. I don't think he's played for us since.
It's such a big step up to play for Spurs nowadays. It's really difficult to do it from the academy. Even Winks is struggling to be anything more than a squad player for us and IMO unless Winks improves will end up at a midtable PL side eventually.
Tom Carroll did the same and was gone 3 months later... A contract renewal doesn't mean an awful lot!
Where's the fun in that? Why couldn't he just post the word leaving instead of some mumbo jumbo?
