Gomes and Bentley are out of contract aren't they? So we won't be getting anything for them. Not sure about Jenas, does he have a year left on his contract?

We extended JJ's contract in March this year keeping him here until 2014. Didn't we sign Bentley on a 6 year contract only 4 years ago?

Yeah I think you're right, I read somewhere that Bentley's contract is until Summer 2014 so he has another 2 years for us to try and sell him. Gomes contract will def expire this summer.

Gomes is injured atm so if we do extend his contract we wont be able to get rid till january at the earlyiest!
I was told gomes should be off this summer as he wants to play but cudicini might go.
We have 4 Gk's we have been lookin at all year 3 young and upcoming and 1 exstablished prem keeper. Button is rated very highly by tony parks so might be in the squad next year.
King will sign a new deal.
Nelson is 50/50 to have his deal extended depends on gallas. And the rest are on the list to be moved on if we can get them clubs.
Was told this all last week.
Gd news i was told last nite is levy's meeting with ajax went well and has nearly agreed the deal for vertonghen just sortin out how long the payments will be payed over and other little things. I wasnt told when it will be sorted thou.
And also i was told remy's agent wants to wait till after the euros to agree any deal.
My m8 was told levy was also talking to a brazilian players agent in holland the same day.

I'd be sad to see them go. Both are decent players.
Corluka is less of an issue due to the progress of Walker, Smith and Naughton.
Krancjar however is the only cover we have for Rafa (albeit Redknapp never actually uses him). IMO Krancjar will need to be replaced, and we have enough work to do buying forwards and replacing Modric before we need to worry about that.

I would consider Defoe, Gio, Bentley, Jenas, Bassong, Gomes, Pienaar as deadwood (Saha, Nelsen, King and Cudicini of course being out of contract too).

This friendship argument is largely exagerated. Luka will have plenty of friends at the club and probably across Europe too. He doesn't need his fellow countrymen to hold his hands. I doubt if those 2 leave it would change things with Luka. If hew wants to leave it will be for football or money reasons.
No problem, tbh i wouldnt mind gomes and cudicini both going as i think friedel, button and a new keeper would be a gd 3 keepers to have tbh. But tbh i cant see the experinced keeper we want coming because he will wana play every game and atm doesnt look like we will drop friedel.

If the players are willing to go and the money is upfront or in a good timeframe I would take it as soon as. It's possibly quick and easy and the faff for trying for a couple of Mill more is offset by the wages we're paying in the mean time and the time spent on a deal that could be spent elsewhere.
Just my naive from the stands view though... plus it's all rumour anyway right, BUT if it were true that is what I would do.
A Brazillian's agent in Holland... hmmm but whom?!
Ganso's agent(s) were reportedly in Milan a couple of days ago, so doubt it was for him.
