Why do i feel so underwhelmed by SB? We are going to be spending circa £20m on him and I am sure that there are better players out there for that money.

Praying for some links to a DM as that in my opinion is the next priority. Got to get tighter at the back.

There feels like a really shortage of good strikers right now and being English you have to pay a premium. But in this world of crazy transfer prices we could be actually getting ourselves a decent young striker with his peak still yet to come

How is it that a high proportion of the posters here seem to consider SB to be a journeyman striker, unworthy of a £20m price-tag and a place in our starting team, whilst the rest are scared shitless that we're going to be gazumped by one of the Mancs?

This has to be said sorry...... But I hate the term "spursy" this is used every time something doesn't go our way or exactly to plan. It's so fuckin annoying... What don't u think things go at all wrong for other clubs.. Late goals conceded, deals falling through, not signing your first target.. It happens to every club. Right feel better now let's get back to ITK ...

I'm pretty sure if JJ had been about and said anything significant, like actually significant (and not reading between the lines making something out of the lack of a comma significant) that it'd be in the Read Only

I'm firmly in the Berahino starts camp if he signs before the weekend.
Both him and Nige.
We really need a little bit of spark or vim or something to kick our season off.
I think we've made some good appointments so far, and got rid of a good few that needed getting rid of, but we seem to be lacking a creative spark.
If Berahino signs, he should play on Saturday. With Kane.

Wish Poch would play a decent formation every now and again.

I think we'll finally see the Berahino deal wrapped up this week. The majority of the ITKs are now pointing that way. Hertyid has been pretty decent with info over the last few windows.

It's a shame it wasn't done earlier, but I can see the reasons for it. It's a hard balancing act between paying/getting the right prices for players and getting players in early in the window so that they are available from the off.
