Why would anyone be telling Porkies? Someone is wrong that's all, either you or me. I can't remember aanyone beating the Goat to the punch that's all, porkies doesn't come into it.

IMO if LFC have indeed beaten UTD to Firmino then that shows how we can beat them (and Arsenal) to Schneiderlin. UTD seem to have other irons in the fire ahead of Schneiderlin (probably the same as they have with Firmino). In this case, we should move quick. Pay up what the player and the club want for him.

Levy appears (IMO) to be waiting for the other clubs to rule themselves out of the Schneiderlin race by getting their more preferred choices. Leaving Schneiderlin and Saints to drop their demands.

However IF as ITK believe, Schneiderlin is keen to join us, then we should just pay up now rather than adopt a risky strategy which history suggests more often fails. He is clearly a pivotal figure to Poch so lets just get it done. Levy can get his negotiation frills from other deals, like toilet paper suppliers.

Maybe this is what the ITK last week about meeting their price was alluding to, and it's now a case of Poch trying to convince him to join us now rather than wait for a 'better offer'.

How on earth some people can slate the bit of enjoyment you get out of a forum with itk is beyond me. If I hated the itk given I wouldn't slate it, I still find it insighting. That someone has gone out of their way to share it. Pathetic and childish really. I disliked jj's info two years ago for saying bale was leaving straight away but it doesn't mean you slag the info off. He is right and I was devastated but that's how football is.

I really hope we do push the boat out on schneiderlin and Trix pushes it further closer on Friday .

I agree with this, there are too many other 'big fish' who will be seen as more high profile signings by the fans when you start to get into the £20-25m budget than Scheiderlin. Plus he isn't home grown and this will go against him further with most of the top teams struggling with their max non-HG allocations right now.

We'd basically sell anyone for the right offer, so not much in the way of inside info about that.
