think ye are all mad talking about ribery and especially kaka

united , arsenal even chelsea are all still in market for central midfield players and if a player like the 2 mentioned are available and been touted around by agent club or whoever then we dont have a cat in hells chance unless it comes about ala vdv situation that no one takes a gamble on him..

if their is a special pressie under the tree it wont be these 2. sorry

no no no, your info is wrong. Kaka is on absolutely mental money. 150k? try nearly 300k.

Marcotti and Balague have confirmed the guy is on 15-17m Euro before tax. Saying it is roughly £270k (pounds) per week after tax.

Only City/Chelsea/PSG/Malaga could afford this - even then you risk other players wanting these wages.

Unless we could get a bloody massive subsidy from some kind of sponsorship deal on Kaka we have no chance.

Also where would he play???

Fist of all don't think we will get Kaka but it COULD be possible for these reasons.

1) Been loads of rumors stating Kaka plans to become a minister in London when he retires so would give him a chance to settle in the area

2) Has won the Champions League so is maybe not as bothered about it as others. Been there done it.

3) Sure he has desires to play for Brazil again if he could strike up a good partnership with Sandro would maybe catch Mano Menezes eye.

4) If as some are saying we are willing to pay maybe 100k he might be willing to take a drop in wages weighing up all the above points.

I won't bother giving the reasons why he won't join but it would be longer I would Imagine. But here's hoping.

Whether we're interested him or not, yellow was never Kaka. We won't be singing him anyway.

I might kinda believe yellow is Kaka, i remember POTL saying yellow will make Modric understand spurs are going places. Signing Rossi will not show any major intent compared to Kaka.

Evening all, so to clarify again I understand that riberys agent has been touting him around, and that DL has wind off it and been made aware of this, they may be interested, but as pointed out wages could be hard, but bonuses, signing on fees always help

I do post in the RO a lot, have a look, and it was stuff about Parker, Ade and Diarra. But just post 'hearings' on here.

As for Kaka, I'll be honest as normal here, CM pm'd me earlier about the Rib stuff and I'll go on record as I did in that PM, and RO a while back.

I really hoped that Kaka would come here, even on loan, £30m gets him hands down. PSG can blow us out the water though,

Ive always known there is 'FUCK ME' signing brewing. But it'll be a last minute gift, a signing like Klingsman or Lineker. And I really hope this is it.

For me, yellow is Kaka. This is both personal POV and based on some chats with people at Spurs, agents and other people close.

Cheers Akya, as always thanks for the info. Ever the optismistic fool I hope your right! :)

POTL posted the following on the 8th July
Bap Bap Americano + Blue and Yellow = 9 but keep it on the DL. Happy Friday.

POTL

Noyw the first time we heard of Bap Bap Americano was on the 17th Jan 2011
And there are a couple of other bits- off to listen to Bup Bup Americano- like that song.

POTL

I've always thought Bap Bap Americano related to Rossi and that Rossi was not yellow. Now if we assume I'm right and Rossi isn't Yelllow (obvisouly could well be wrong but bear with me) then who is Yellow?

Later in the window POTL said that when Blue and Yellow came to fruition then Modric would be happy and see our ambition. Obvisouly Blue is Adebayor so then Yellow must also be a big name to show ambition.

Some have said that Yellow could be Leandro. However is he a big enough name to show ambition, would us sigining him make Modric happy to stay? So if it isn't Rossi or Leonardo then who is it.

Kaka surely fits, after all if the following comes off then I'm sure Modric would see out ambition

Bap Bap Americano (Rossi) + Blue (Adebatyor) and Yellow (Kaka)

Crazy, unprobable, but not entirely impossible!

However I'm probally completly wrong and Rossi is Yellow and we won't stand a chance of signing Kaka!!

I reckon that we shred management of the 'whole' budget there may be one/two players if IF we brought in, could get the magic six figure salary, but leaves some open to parity.

Modders? God knows. Why give a stroppy child a sweet?

Have a look at my RO from the day this all broke. Even then before the meeting someone said DL would literally tell him to jog on, he has and will.

If he did there would be a big buy out clause slapped on him

I agree mate think he needs to prove himself on the pitch again before he gets more money.

Isn't it also possible that Adebayor was blue and yellow? City blue. Togo yellow.

like i said i think ye are all mad haha thinking its kaka or ribery.

if it is true that we have a big signing then my money would be on either drogba or outside bet of robben, extremely unlickely though considering his comments other day about barca and also fact i think he is injured now!

even drogba is probably highly unlikely given chelsea conduct this summer but if they ok with dealing then drogba could still be an option.

apart from that i have no idea who we might get although if madrd were to sign a striker i might get interested ans wonder what if!!!

POTL said Ade was Blue, with no mention of yellow, so as much as he possibly could have been yellow, he wasn't

So is it Bup Bup Americano or Bap Bap Americano? Do we think the vowel switch important, or do we not give a shit?

for the record I think we will attempt to sign Diarra, Parker and Cahill

And attempt to sell/loan: Wilson, Bentley, Gio, Hutton

Thats it, the "special player" sounds to me like the Arshavin debacle of that January window
