None of them are crap. Hutton and Crouch have played an important role in the squad at various times in the last 2 seasons and Jenas is a very talented player who I still think would be in the same league as the best midfielders in the league if he had got his head straight earlier in his career.

We can improve on all three certainly but to say they are 'a shower of shit' is the sort of nonsense that gets spouted by far too many people both in here and at the ground.

Sorry mate, going to have to go ahead and disagree with you.

Crouch, as a striker you are only as good as your goal ratio. Yes he bagged a few assists for VDV but a striker who doesnt score goals, a lanky streak who cant head a ball, can only be described as shite.

Hutton, a defender who cant defend for beans! Ok going forward but how many times over the last few years have we been punished because this plonker lost possesion and didnt get back? Sorry, he's shite.

Jenas, an average squad player. Maybe not shite but has added very little over too many years now. Can run for fun but whats the point when you cant pass, shoot or tackle?

Just my opinions, but I'd take that £15M and run!

who is ghostofarmo (scout)? Top ITK?

His source is Jerome Andersson, the agent for many of Arsenal's players (and Bentley)

£15M for both jenas and hutton is right, but i wouldnt include crouch in that, that would be day light robbery!! for all 3 i think £22M is fair, £5M hutton, £8M jenas and £9M crouch

Crouch is the wrong side of 30 now and likely to suffer from injuries more than a lot of players because of being an ectomorph.

Sounds totally realistic to me, Hutton being in the last year of his contract as well.

I'd imagine Hutton is on one of our 4+2 year deals, so effectively has 3 left, rather than 1.

Hutton is not HGT

So Welsh and Irish players are because they don't have professional domestic leagues, but Scottish are not. Is that right?

Are we all choosing to ignore this? Eek

Garuntee = Giuseppe Rossi?

Normally I would agree. But Crouch was mostly useful for the CL. Since we have no CL anymore and we are likely to field the kids in the EL, then surely, at our present stage, it's more in our interested to clear these players off the wage bill rather than worry about big transfer fees....especially if Levy refuses to bring in anyone new until players have gone.

Let's just put it this way, if you think those players are shite then I hope to god you weren't supporting the club during the 90s. You must have been in a constant state of apoplectic fury.

i would forget those prices;
-no interest in bentley
-wolves did enquire about Keane many months back. i dont know what his wages are but the conversation im told didn't last long after they found out.

I would be delighted if we brought the likes of Diarra,Farfan and Afellay to the club this summer but Huntelaar is a bit harder to believe and a bit of a risk.

I hate this use of the word 'shite' or similar to describe incredibly talented international footballers who would make any one of us look we had motor neurone disease were we to play against them for ten minutes.

Keane and Bentley are likely to be the hardest ones to get rid of. They're probably both on the highest wages of all of the players we want to sell and they've done the least in the last year or so to suggest they are worth those wages.

Unless they're willing to take a pay cut I don't know whether we'll be able to shift them. Certainly not for much.

The only way we are going to lose Keane and Bentley is if we agree to susidise their wages (as we were hoping City would do with Adebayor).

I know the first bit is true - He wants to stay and fight for his place - Still some way to prove it to management though

Players like Crouch, Jenas and Hutton would have fit right in during the 90's. We have however come quite a long way since then so there is no longer a need to keep shite players. Selling them can only be a good thing.

Defoe and Crouch also full into the getting on a bit, high wages, not a lot of suitors if we want to recoup more than half of what we paid for them bracket unfortunately
