ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC: AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE
18/06/2011
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: A phenomenal 2010-2011 season with the Rossoneri shirt on his back and going into the new season with new goals on the horizon. All agreements between Milan and Barcelona have been confirmed.
MILAN - A chat with some of the legends of Milan's past starting with the one and only, the unmistakble and unstoppable Franco Baresi. Subject: The season just past and title number 18. The main man, Zlatan Ibrahimovic: "Guys, let's be serious. He was decisive, devastating. He may even have a bit of a drop in form near the end of the season and the team did great to push on without him, but the initial wins, the most important ones, were all down to him." Ideas, agression, reflection, all roads lead to Ibra.
Zlatan has 21 goals to his name this season. His strikes against Auxerre were decisive for Champions League qualification as were his winning goals against Genoa, Napoli, Palermo, Inter, Fiorentina, Cesena and Catania. His passing, his help, his tracking back, pure Ibra. And that's why Milan, who were already the first in line at the end of last season, have signed sealed and delivered all agreements with Barcelona, first agreed at the end of August 2010.
He started the season just passed like a caged animal who had been set free and a touch of nerves at the tail end of the season was probably due to the fact that the Conan-like strength that he had shown in the first six months was no longer there. That's why the training regime that he has already started will be focused on spreading the same energy that the fans saw from September to March over nine months. Roll on next season.

Frankly, I don't five an aviating coitus what Modric thinks, feels or says in this situation. He willingly signed a contract last season which has about 5 years to run. He is 25 and approaching his prime. If he throws a wobbly, he can and should be sent to the naughty room to see the error of his ways. The Club has an appreciating asset. If they don't sell him now, his price will increase in future unless he gets a career threatening injury, which is a risk, that I, and I hope and suspect the Club are willing to take. He is not only under contract. More importantly, the Club holds his registration with the Premier League, UEFA and FIFA. Even if he threatens legal action in a Bosman style trial of strength, any case would take way beyond the end of August to sort out, and he is likely to make himself persona non grata with all the big clubs, the Premier League, the FA, UEFA and FIFA, who don't want the present regulations upset, or they would already be looking at changing them
Levy has all the power. Modric has signed his away, unlike Berbatov, Carrick, and for that matter Ashley Young and Stewart Downiing, currently.
If Levy doesn't lose his bottle, then Modric stays, even he cries his little eyes out.
no i'm saying that whoever gets rid of him wins the CL
And yet we still do it to ourselves...we still visit this site, and follow every little rumour and do it to death...we still check NewsNow every five minutes...we still check BBC intereactive...when will the madness end:duh::duh::duh:
There must be a joke about 2 wonderful strikers in there somewhere...
Where is Spurger when you need him?
All very well but it doesnt change the fact that it would be better to have a happy Modic who wants to stay than one agitating for a move away. Thus it is a worry that he hasnt said anything to the contrary.
Just met crouchy in gaucho in Richmond. Unfortunately no itk except his wife is as fit as the pictures look

The real joke is almost 60% of the players we are trying to offload/upgrade/want to leave were bought by the current management and have been with us for 2 1/2 years at max only.....
Hutton, Bassong, Bentley, GDS, Palacios, kranjcar, Jenas, Defoe, Crouch, Keane, Naughton & Pav.
More importantly, how was your steak?
Very nice thank you. Fortunately I was not playing. I was a bit disappointed it was Crouchy. Would much rather it was Dawson
you speak to Crouchy?

Or just gawp at Abby?
