It's worrying that we would even make a fucking inquiry. It honestly sounds like there's a mad panic going on and Levy is randomly ringing clubs to ask who's available.

I think it means if DL doesn't do the right thing and cough up for the pacy striker we need, there will be rumblings... ie rumblings of discontent because Poch wants a fast flexible sriker-Period. Which sounds a bit like Poch getting towards ultimatum level with Levy...

Herc's comment about being "told to put it out there" also sounds like people wanting some pressure on Levy.

If all this works out and Daniel buys us all a lovely pacy forward, we'll be ok. But Herc's info makes it sound like we could be in a whole load of trouble if not. We are sunk without Poch...

That's what I thought! Very worrying. Poch is it seems calling levy out by saying he 'expects' at least 3 this week. Unusual to be so definite.

Seems amazing to me that DL would flirt with destroying everything we've built by not backing the manager we've waited a generation for. Surely a hugely false economy.

Yeah inquiries will be going in left, right & centre for many a player but it's going from everything is going to work out this window (for once) to hints Poch could be getting frustrated. Just doesn't sit right.

Can't see Poch being unhappy if we sign Sanchez, Aurier, Barkley and Foyth - just because we didn't get his first-choice forward!
By all accounts it was his choice to sell Walker, with Aurier we will replaced him, maybe even strenghtened that position.

Could Barkley be the player Herc is takling about? Poch wants him bad, but Levy's not sure he wants to spend that kind of money on an injured player?

Bare minimum;
- Aurier
- Foyth

Expected;
- Sancho
- Barkley

Optimistic;
- Sessegnon

Dream;
- Martial

Don't want us deviating from these to be honest so a big fucking no to Josh King, Benteke et al

Seems like Aurier is pretty close. If we get Barkley, sanchez and Aurier done we will be better. If we add a WF it will be a great window.

If all we can get is Benteke or Origi id rather not bother. Promote Edwards give GKN another year and just sack this window off as being a disappointment. Both those two signings are such obvious desperation and complete wastes of money, just put the money back in the pot and try and sign a worthwhile player in January.

We could just buy someone worthwhile now but I've lost any hope of it happening.

I hope you have some ITK there Hengy and Hopefully you're referring to the splashing of cash on one top player.

From my non ITK position (although I picked up some interesting info, from one of the current coaches during a round of golf, on Walker last week) three games into the season without a new signing on the pitch doesn't suggest we have in that respect.

I know multi million pound deals won't happen quickly but surely we shouldn't be still working on these deals with days left to go! Move on to the next target & stop wasting time. If negotiations have been going in for weeks then the selling club must be interested in the sale...time to pay what the player is worth!
