How ITK is Gards?
I'm not sure of his info lately.
Seems a bit vague or that he's maybe got stuff from JJ. I don't look out for his info as much as I used to, although I can't think of any specific reason why tbh.

...plus the bank, Leverkusen chairman, Son's agent, Son himself, and probably his wife and all her friends...
I hope no-one's told Son. The last two players who arrived aware of their big money price tags were Soldado and Lamela!
Tell him he was taken on a Free and see what happens.

you'll want to take that down if you want to see the rest of the window unfold

I wish I could like this and Trix's post 1000x, hit the nail on the head. People want to act like we are the only club who bought "flops", see Cuadrado, Falcao (so far) etc etc. We used the Bale money and took a punt on some established players (Soldado) and some exciting talent (Lamela). This is obviously not our standard SOP, but we got the cash influx and decided to go for it. It didn't work out unfortunately. There are so many massive things on the horizon for our club. We have an amazing new stadium coming, a super lucrative deal with the largest sport in the United States, and signing Son will most likely see us get massive support and probably some deals (training kit, stadium naming rights etc) with major South Korean corporations.

The support for Poch from Levy/ownership and the revamping of our scouting system with Paul Mitchell, as well as the a major focus on our youth development, means we are planning for the future. I'm very excited to see where our clubs goes in the next 5 years as I think they are absolutely critical to our long term success. Maybe I am less jaded than some of you since I have only been following Spurs since 2010 but I like the direction we are moving and very much look forward to the future.

Nah, you just get it, mate. (y)

All this talk of new strikers, but I'm pretty sure that if we can do Berahino then we will. Any talk of new names being looked at etc will only be players for back up in case SB can't be done.

I believe we had a deadline after which we would move on to the next target so that we don't draw a blank as usual.

Any ideas on when that would be?

Straight after Peace's rhetoric released last evening I postedo on here that the process is not dead. It can't be, because of the nature of the process up till that point.
1. A medical has taken place. This just wouldn't happen without full consent from the selling club.
2. WBA have very publically courted alternative bids each time Spurs have revised its bid.
3. Berahino has had to get involved by handing in a transfer request.
4. WBA have bought both Lambert and Rondon to add to the three existing strikers, including Saido.

This will run till the last day, when he will be announced by Spurs and Peace will release a statement saying that Berahino's head hd been turned to the extent he didn't want to play for the club, and WBA have received an acceptable offer to release him from his contract.

Just my opnion which I've already posted last night but I do think he is going to be our player.

I don't like that we're potential leaving it to the last day, I would really prefer we move on now. Anything can happen on the final day, UTD might not be successful getting Neymar ;) and decide to move for SB

If dreams could come true...

We all seem to be happy with the way this transfer window has gone so far. But there are a few days left before the window slams shut and ITK has indicated that we can expect at least two more incomings and a few outgoings.

The Summer Transfer Pledge section is a great spot to indicate who you'd like to see join us and who you'd like to see leave. It's a chance to man-up and put your preferences on the line - with a cash donation if your dreams become reality.

How much time do you spend on here? Isn't it worth it to drop a few quid in the coffers to help ensure that we continue to receive the great service provided by the folks that run Spurs Community?

Looking at some of the posts on Adebayor some might be inclined to pledge £5 if Ade moves to West Ham and £10 if he joins Villa. And who do want to have as that shiny new striker? And, most important in my opinion, who should be our new centre midfielder?

Now is the time to express yourself and commit cold hard cash to show what your dream line-up will look like at Tottenham Hotspur once the window closes.

Exciting times...
