Like they said, they don't have a deal with us and he's under contract so no reason why they wouldn't play him. It seems it's with Berahino we have an agreement. Also him getting on with his business and not causing a fuss over the move might be a promising sign in regards to his "attitude" problems. If Aidy Ward was still advising him I doubt he'd have played today.

He's still a West Brom player and playing a friendly is building his fitness for the upcoming season whoever he ends up playing for.
I'm sure we'll make our official move for him when Ade to Villa is confirmed.

Because as far as Pulis is concerned he has to get ready for the start of the season with the squad he has got. He is still a West Brom player and until that changes they will want to get him fit for the start of the season.
