So, who would you drop for Parker, because right now I wouldn't drop any of the current 11 for him.

Maybe not nut jenas for sure and hudd sometimes does not perform and then Parker is in especially for those tough Stoke and Bolton games

bayern in for ozil

Do me a favour and post the source of this story. Nerves are rather frayed around here you see and there are people lurking about with daggers gripped between their teeth and murderous thought in their heads.

So rather than popping into the thread and dumping that here, leaving people wondering wether you've posted some ITK or its info from a credible site, would you clarify? Otherwise there's every chance you could wake up in the morning with your favourite pets noggin lying next to you in your bed.

There's a good chap.

I love this thread and is a huge part of what makes SC great, so glad I created that poll to put pressure on Archie to bring it back. Sorry Archie but you are a victim of your own success and if your roundups are anything like they used to be we are in for a treat!

Also can I ask... (I know I'm not a mod) but could ITK be blue and bolded? Its handy for those who just want to seek out the ITK snippets, just something that used to happen before.

Suarez already scored for Ajax tonight. If they make to the group stage he can't play CL for another club. Would certainly bring his value down for this season.

Not happy at all that we're interested in Parker, that just stinks of desperation to make any signing we can and I'd honestly prefer nobody to getting him in. He can't last more than 60 minutes, is slow as fuck and doesn't even have that old goal threat, and this is ignoring the fact that he is injured all the time.

The Ozil link seems to have picked up pace, but I still don't understand the clamour for him. He's a good player, very good yes, but we're blessed with creative tippy tappies already, very good tippy tappies. Yes, I know I wanted Cole, but he was available for free and is proven in this league so he fit the 'stupid not to try' category of player. Having missed out on him, I'm not sure I want any changes to our midfield options, especially not with the 25 man squad limit. Lennon, Bentley, Modric, Kranjcar, Huddlestone, Sandro, Palacios, Jenas, Giovani. 9 international midfielders, defensive minded, attack minded, composed, energetic, dribblers, passers, tacklers, battlers, we have a brilliant mix there, a mix that accomodates several formations and styles. Give bloody Giovani a go, don't just spunk money on the international flavour of the month just because you want to please a few fans who just want to see signings regardless of effect.

I am somewhat worried by the lack of information, ITK or media, regarding striker bids. I think that we match anyone and everyone all over the rest of the pitch, but up front I would like someone to come in. That said, it has to be reasonable, we can't be held to randsom over any player, and I haven't actually lost all faith in Robbie Keane, should he stay, rediscovering the form that made him a hero for half of the past decade.

It's done. Suarez won't want to leave now because he can no longer play Champions League football.

Definitely looks like Suarez is off the menu now. Would be daft to sign someone who can't play in the group stages of the Champions League.

Wonder who else we're looking at?

IF he was a priority for us we should have got this sorted by now. It's not just about other clubs stealing our transfer targets. When your buying players in this category it's a bit stupid he won't be able to play in some of our biggest games.

Sort of. I don't want any panic-buy, unsuitable players who we have to sell on in six months' time at a loss, but I also don't want us to hold on for the best price and best terms for so long that our chances of succeeding in the Champions League qualifier and hopefully group stages, don't suffer due to players being ineligible or even not having them in place for the qualifier. I'd like to get a couple of big signings done in the next week, ideally.

Well, at least we're not Aston Villa. Waiting for our best player to be bought before we can get on with our own business. Sounds vaguely familiar though...

Bellamy, Parker, C.Cole all depress me greatly. Turan, Ozil and Dzeko make me sex wee :hump:

Anyone else feel the same.............

Disgusting, i hope you have Kleenex handy. I will gladly take Turan, Ozil and Dzeko.

It can't be worse than waiting all summer to lose Berbatov, then getting Fraizer Campbell as a replacement. :-|
