But would you want to splash out the kind of money the Spammers are gonna demand for him on a squad player. He'd improve the squad no doubt but then so would Ozil and Turan, if the spammers want £20 million for him when we can get Ozil for £12 million, well says it all really. Turan and Ozil over Parker anyday, we don't need a player that the position for is already well taken with Palacios/Huddlestone and now Sandro.

If we end up with Ozil and Turan I can surely see 4-2-3-1 formation, they'd suit it.

How much did we bid for Parker? Oh yeah, we don't know do we?

If we're interested in Scott Parker, then we're going to bid what we think he's worth, not silly money.

Do we need to solve other areas? Yes. Are there more important positions to improve on? Yes. Do we need to sign those before we sign Parker? No. Transfers don't work that way and we have until 31st August on all transfers. They'll take as long as they take.

Lets say Harry wants these 3 players he mentioned. Now if those 3 players were Oezil/Turan, Fabiano/Forlan/Suarez and Parker don't you think the Parker one is most likely to be done first? The lesser transfer would probably be easier to conclude then the big transfers. It doesn't mean we're not pushing really hard on the others.

Transfers are far from simple, and if we want top quality players then they're going to be even harder to pull off.

Don't let the ITK get you so worked up dude. How many times have we signed players on the day that we've heard ITK about it? I reckon the ratio is 10:1 against at best.

In my boredom I ventured onto a West Ham forum to have a look and found some ITK.

This is seriously getting f*cked up

brady and sullivan are playing games with the west ham fans and media


on my 3 kids i swear brady gave scotty permission to speak to Sp*rs yesterday if they met the valuation

then today they offered him a new contract to cover their asses just incase someone coughs up the fee it will look like scotty wanted the move!

they have withheld monies from SP (not the image right situation)

all the players were ordered to a sullivan event and there are several senior players refusing to attend!

they have taken away the players family box

ticket allocation on match day has been slashed to 2 tickets any more than that they have to pay for them

they have to pay for dinner/lunch at the training ground!!

they are being charged for any shirts they give away to the fans after the match

i spoke to a couple of the players before they left for 2 days game

u saw with the england camp/team that an unhappy squad makes for tough season/competition

the players arent happy

Double bonus taking in the game and seeing Turan, maybe.... it would certainly have alerted Harry to how good he is.

Some sense however.....

I don't often post but feel the need to here.

What gets me is why some people are so quick to trust a fella who has got some stuff right and some stuff wrong over our chairman (who I think has yet to lie to us)? Looking at it very logically The Dave's are West Ham fans, they have put a statement out on the o/s which clearly states Parker isn't for sale, end of. We've also rejected an offer from T*ttenham. It would be a massive PR own goal to go to all this effort to say he's not for sale at any price and then be trying to sell him behind our backs wouldn't it?

If that was the case they wouldn't release statements like they have today. They would keep it quiet, sell him for x amount and then be like 'we did everything is our power blah blah'.

All that said I know how much some of you enjoy running around shouting 'panic, panic' and 'lies! They tell us lies' so I'll leave you to it

Suggests that maybe our 'bid' that everyone is getting their penises in a twist about might not have happened in quite the same way as the always truthful West Ham chairmen said.

To be fair to Gold & Sullivan, even though they've acted like a pair of immature twats since taking over WHam, the club is in shit due to the way it was run by the previous regime. You can't blame them for cost cutting exercises like that, though the 'shirt in the crowd' thing is OTT.

Still not sure if we need Parker but if it means taking their best player from them then that's always good for a laugh.
