From the ITK we have received since the end of the season it sounds to me like we have plenty of routes to go down should we not obtain our first picks.

In the beginning it was two CMs, now it's two 'attacking third' players - obviously this comes from different sources but I wouldn't be surprised if there was flexibility there.

For example if we only obtain 1 AM/WF, perhaps we use that money on a key CM instead - if we obtain 2 AM/WF maybe we trust Eriksen in a deeper role.

Sounds like there's lots of variables to me.

Sure sounds to me from the ITK given that the attacking options in order of preference by the club would be Martial, then Pulisic, then Malcolm, all for around 50 mill potentially.

From the sounds of it, we're going after 2 wide players, each with there own list of preferences. Judging by various ITK on targets, I'd say 1 list includes young players, relatively unproven (sessegnon, pulisic and Malcolm) and the other with a bit more experience (bale, martial, zaha). Worst case scenario we end up with Malcolm and zaha (or other unannounced targets), which doesn't sound too bad, does it?

Liking that! But we'll probably end up with Jay Rodriguez and Michail Anthonio...

I don't have a lot of insight into the ITK sources, but it seems that all of the main names being mentioned, Bale, Pulisic, Zaha, Sessegnon, Martial are at some stage of the process. That doesn't mean we sign any of those. I would imagine every single top 6 club is monitoring/scouting/discussing the same players right now. I'm just of the opinion that it's too early to get too excited about any of them. Though, not a one is on a plane to Russia. Which makes it all just a bit more interesting.

I think Martial is our first choice. Then Pulisic and then possibly Malcom...
I'm sure there are one or two on the list that we don't know the names of, but it seems to me Martial is our absolute top choice. Would cost around 50 million and Herc did say the other day we were aggressively in talks with United for him.

Martial would make me very happy. He'd be a brilliant signing.

There are always variable a.k.a cheaper alternatives to small daniel

The problem is those variables are Njie Nkoudou Aurier etc
