I took it as Breezer putting a little bit of his own inflection into the statement ( he’s unsure if Zaha would be a good signing for us ). Then qualified by the comment that he wouldn’t be bothered too much if he signed elsewhere

Thus, the stories that may appear in the media are to do with us being linked to him as Poch is a big fan

Zaha played Striker a lot for Palace in the final stages of the league, and did very well for them there. So he could definitely do a good job for us imo

Signing Malcom would probably mean the end of Lamela, Zaha is another right footer so selling Lamela to would be silly as we would be left with only right footed attacking players. Also, would probably mean no Pulisic. Martial makes by far the most sense as he is a forward and a wing forward and we really need a decent forward. I realise Zaha has played up top a bit for CP this season but I don’t feel like he has done it enough (before this season) to be considered a genuin back up for Kane any more then Son is. Beyond that, I just rate Martial a lot higher then I do Zaha. Agree tho, they are three different players.

Going by that last Ali z bit we seem to be targeting an attacker for the sake of getting another attacker in rather than position specific

Latest ITK saying we hope to sign 2 by August is a little concerning. The window shuts very early this season so are we only expecting 2 in?

That worries me a little.

Might have had a few too many bevvies but I am very confused about what might be going on - think need to re-read tmoz to understand exactly who we might be getting - Bale, Malcolm, Zaha, Martial, Pulisic except none will be until August. That correct?
If that's right there will be an awful lot of concerned posters who will be in meltdown without positive news for a month - whilst Levy haters will be pleased and preaching nothing ever changes.

I think we are all confused. Being brave ... being cautious ... buying early ... buying late ... all players you mentioned plus Sess are too expensive anyway ... so all we can do is wait for the bigger clubs to take their pick and see what is left
