What actions? He just tried to calm him down so he didn't get booked. There was nothing more to it than that. The kid scored against one of the top teams in world football so he was a bit too excited and Harry was just bringing him back down to earth.

I think he was telling SAndro to sit more deep and not push up as much also.

I guess he'll be gone then. 4th best CM last season, but his performance against Manure at home was possibly the best performance by any of our CMs last season. We all know what he can do and what a pivotal part he's played in taking the club to a higher level. I will be very sad to see him go, but have to agree he's not been consistent enough..

He was telling him to stick tighter to fat frank. He was getting into too much space in the pocket behind the strikers

I thought it was more a case of Harry saying I know you scored but your defensive mid what the hell are you doing up there

Difficult position to fill, need a player who won't stifle Sandro's development and is also aware he may spend some time on the bench

Senna on a free would be ideal for that role IMO.

Parker's just too expensive for what he is - a mid-table journeyman who covers more ground than anyone else on the pitch simply because his reading of the game and position are so bloody awful.

That's just not true.

Yes Parker isn't the sort of player to sit in his position and be positionally disciplined, but then neither is Sandro. They are both players who are more defensively minded but who can get forward when necessary. I would argue that Sandro is better at the defensive side of things than Parker but that maybe Parker offers a bit more in the attacking third.

Either way to say his reading of the game and positioning are 'bloody awful' is ludicrous hyperbole.

I mean....this is worse than the constant shite that The Original Yiddster used to come out with.

The opposite, really. 'Arry's own words were:

“All I said to him when he came over (after scoring the goal) was that he wanted to hunt Frank Lampard down everywhere and I just told him not to go chasing after him but to wait until he came in the final third of the pitch, that’s when he had to latch onto him. He was just going too deep with him and we didn’t want that.
“He’s a good player and I like him a lot, a young lad with a bright future.”

Sarge does well when the pace of the game is slightly slower (good world cup, for example) so he'll probably do well on the continent. £14M would be top dollar, though, surprised PSG are willing to go that high so early in the window. Do they have any previous with Sarge?

Haha! Do you still want to keep what you were told the other day quiet, Shanks?

Absolutely, to be honest I think most of what I was told ties in with the rather long cryptic ITk that was posted, but I'm not saying a work on anything in future.

Sucks, but can't be bothered to deal with people making out I'm bullshitting for popularity!

Easier to just sit back and watch/read.

talky don't even bother trying to argue Dan, just not worth it.

Was thinking about the talk of Lennon to Liverpool. IF DL could get £20+ million for him and we could pull off a Gervinho, Hazard or Juan Mata instead i think that would be a great upgrade. Lennon provides a good release but the way he struts around like snoop dogs mini me is just rediculous. He also flaps his arms around like Keane when the ball doesn't come to him which is funny considering 8 out of 10 times once the ball goes to him he either looses it to the defender or passes to nobody. And when was the last time he tried running past a player? The only time i remember last season was Milan away. He either needs to adjust his attitude or be replaced in my opinion.
