It's been a bee in my bonnet for years that we endlessly turnover players. So nice to see us build some continuity into our club again

Nice update from GF in the RO.
It makes sense to wait for the dust to settle on any 'special' players, like we did with Van der Vaart. It's good to see that we're finally getting some ITK that we are indeed in for another player to upgrade the first team.

Agreed. Not sure what sort of players may be still available at the end of the window but perhaps with the sought after addition of another AM and some of the clearouts expected, that 'extra' additional(s) may be based on any surplus funds (is there such a thing with Levy??) and players who make future sense to go for now (young & promising), have a reported buy out (Rafa Silva?) or are genuinely special and worth splashing out on.
My view is players will probably be looked at in that order though.

A mate of mine is a Southend fan and has just told me they're in talks to sign Ball from us. Not sure if it's temporary or permanent. Seems a strange move, would have thought he'd go to a Championship club at this point.
