:grin: sorry its late and the day before deadline day...im shot!

No problem, quite frustrating to hear that deals for these players were "done" but not sealed for one reason or another. Hopefully we can complete a couple tomorrow!

Ah, well thats cheered me up... :)

Well, it cheers me up a hell of a lot.
OK, they didn't come to fruition but it backs up a lot of itk that was heard and also shows that we were out there, trying to sign players of the type and calibre we needed.
We don't sign everyone we go for but that fact that we are trying, in the right places, offers reassurance.

I'd rather hear something like that, than that we nearly signed Carlton Cole and Upson*.

JJ - if we did nearly sign CC and Upson, please don't burst my happy bubble!!

And I wonder if StartingPrice will slate me again for having the audacity to suggest that Levy won't have learned any lessons

From all the ITK and SSN it looks like Parker will be complete, and Hutton and Palacious gone, only need Cahill done and we are back in the running for top 4.

It will be interesting to see Levy's hand tomorrow... nobody (or at least not me!) knows exactly what is in it, we've just got to hope it's an ace and not a joker card I guess

JJetset would you say its at least 70% in favour of it being one of the better windows we've had?

I couldnt possibly comment!

So much can happen in the next 24 hours and so much can go right or wrong. Unfortunately its the chance you take when you deal this late. We could save up to 10 million by doing our business late and that is a risk Daniel prefers to take. I just wish we would have got rid of outgoings earlier as it makes it so much easier!

Our transfer policy is remarkebly similar to my University assignment policy; i.e. 12 hours before the deadline, totally unprepared and with a bucketload of lager flowing through my veins!
