Re: What D1 was saying about Carlo will be in if Harry aint delivering top 4 early on. Well surely that is a two way street and Levy needs to deliver on the signing front? Carlo will not do heaps, if at all, better with Pav, Crouch, Defoe.

Mata: I just can't see it. I want to believe but if he has his heart set on United, Chelsea or Scum he won't come here. He'd be better off having another blinder at Valencia and trying again next year. Unless Money talks but our wage structure ain't going to give any player a cash induced boner!

Seems like we are wasting our time with Mata. if we need to convince a player so much its not worth it, he'll only want to leave in a couple of years.

also if a CL team is interested they are automatically ahead of us, not forgetting Arsenal are a bigger team and can offer the chance of winning things more realistically than us (unless he fancies the League Cup)

We can end all the Benzema talk too now after Mourinho said he's not for sale. If reports are to be believed and Kaka is being offered to Chelsea then clearly we haven't got any kind of deal struck for him either. Realistically the only '1st team' player we'd stand a chance of getting from them is Diarra.

It's worrying times now. The amount of players that we're interested in that are reportedly not interested in us is a big concern.

why sack harry who im sure has a decent contract when at end of next season he might be gone anyway to england? so sacking him and giving him a big pay off and then paying another wad of cash to free ancellotti from gardening leave before we get another manager in at a time when we are obviously not doing well cos harry is sacked hahahaha give me a break. the positivity and optimisism in here is just unreal.

why cant people admit that harry rubs them up wrong way and move on.. the only reason we wont do well this year is IF LEVY DOES NOT GET FINGER OUT AND PAY MONEY AND WAGES NEEDED TO GET PLAYERS IN WHO WILL MAKE DIFFERNCE TO OUR FIRST TEAM. we already have decent players with sprinkling of wrold class players. fucking add to it and shut up about what if 's and maybes with regards a top class manager.

There's only one thing I would really like to know and if any of the ITK's can get the answer I would be very grateful:

WTF has the club (Scouts, management and the board) been doing since the last failed window? I mean you would think that they would have taken note of previous mistakes but it just seems the same thing over and over again!

Now I do realise that things change and players we were looking at but failed to sign have moved on but the club must have people sorting this out and getting these player in early (as we did with Modric)

The thing is though, they are saying we will be rid of Harry IF the court case goes badly. Harry would quit the club anyway if this was the case.

the ITK re Harry getting the boot if we dont get off to a good start just leaves me with head in hands - how can DL be giving serious consideration to going after Harrys targets this window if he knows he may sack him in a couple of months

If true then its going to be DL's targets that we attempt to buy and not the managers - that just cant be the right way forward for us

the chances are we wont have a good start as we already are building injuries and are showing pre season all the same issues up front that plagued us last year - put that together with a really tough set of opening games then it really doesnt look good.....

If fabregas moves to Barca, I can only see Mata moving to Ar5ena1. However if Fabregas stays, I think we will have some hope of landing Mata.

What a way to contemplate the start of the season. The manager could be banged up at some point, the Chair fucking man is choosing the players (would Fergie or Wenger accept that) and we appear clueless as to what to do regarding new strikers.

Pathetic. We have the best group of players we have had in years, just need a couple of additions - but we can't handle it. And ironically if we have a bad start Harry will get the axe.

It is obvious, and backed up by ITK, that Levy likes to work very quietly, so very little leaks out - so it is absolutely pointless to claim anything based on the fact that you don't know what is going on, isn't it:shrug:

agreed, but Real madrid have just signed Sahin and have Xabi and Ozil who can play the playmaker role

That said modric could be Real madrid's Xavi imo and make that team tick

IMHO the agreed fee would be for bale as all the europeans are going ape shit over him
