Very true... it's all fingers crossed at the moment. But either way there is some indication that he's behind Poch in a big way and is going to support him. Time will tell. We could still all be pulling our hair out this time tomorrow.
Apart from Levy, of course.

Right I'm presuming not much more news tonight so going to bed as need to get up at 4am tomorrow to drive home from Corbwall. Then it's all day dedicated to TDD.

Until tomorrow my friends.....

Considering this thread has become a geography lesson, where the fuck is Corbwall?

Clock is ticking until the Italian window shuts at 11. If no updates reckon witsel will come.

Just want to say, if we don't sign another decent striker and dm then that's a Levy gamble. If it comes off, credit to him, but if it fails he deserves all the criticism he gets. We had solutions, we have the money, but he will have decided it's better to risk it and spend on the stadium instead.

For me it's a huge gamble because the pl has changed this year, teams are splashing the cash, and their quality reflects it ; in the past we could confidently say we're top eight and nowhere near bottom six ; this year we can't, it's all closed up and that makes random factors much more significant!

The striker situation is obviously ridiculous, but it's the DM issue that irritates me. Players like Cabaye would have improved the team without question, but there's every chance that we've spread our eggs across several flimsy baskets, and will end up with nobody.

Still, let's just hope that things are sorted and it's just a case of crossing the t's and dotting the i's tomorrow.

Always thought west brom Albion was a made up place that doesn't really exist, like Camelot or Woolwich Arsenal

Gards (whom I believe is allowed to be mentioned here) is really ripping Levy on the site not to be mentioned. Says our transfer policy is "unacceptable" and that it's been this way for the last six years. Says by now most clubs are putting finishing touches on the window, not scrambling around trying to fill obvious and key needs. The fact that he has been ripping him makes me think that things are not looking great going into tomorrow.

Does anyone else get the impression that, based on the ITK from today, Levy and company are absolutely scrambling trying to get things done? How is this a sound policy? When indeed are they going to learn?

I am hopeful (naive?) that these two huge needs of striker and DM will get filled as some ITK remain optimistic, but a big part of thinks they same old excuses are going to be coming out and it's going to be groundhog day again.

from what I understand Gards got his info from David Bentley as he's dating his sister - not entirely sure how much info he gets now so pinch of salt.

Good news the new loans will not affect the loan of Lamela to Marseille according to French football experts and Di Marzio.

Understand your point but am much more confident in our DM position after Dier's performance yesterday. Yes, we need cover but I'd really love to see him given the chance to flourish. For me, it's the striker position that worries me.
