I am serious. I am not having a laugh. Sorry to disappoint you.

Unlike some reactionary fans I can see the benefits of a player like Jenas. Yes he won't start many games and no he doesn't set the world alight but he is an extremely useful squad member, particularly with the new homegrown rules.

This constantly gets overlooked in regards to Jenas.

JJ? Puts in 100%? No he doesn't and that's his problem.

Coasts through games, 80% max.

Yes.

Good player, always puts in 100%, can be brilliant at times and takes up one of our homegrown positions.

Makes alot of sense.

that has got to be a joke. If he did do that, he'd have realised a lot more of his undoubted potential than he currently has. One of the most frustrating players ever as he clearly does have the talent but not the mentality or aptitude.

Seriously guys, the Jenas argument has been done to death, those that don't like him will never see what those that like him see and vice versa.

I know it's discussing ITK (and I agree with how useful he might be because of the home grown rules), but the argument is so boring... Someone will post the animation argument about Jenas at this rate

Wouldn't be a transfer window without the classic "Jenas is a crap / good sqaud player" barney!

Has anyone thought that Yellow could be Neymar?

Santos want a big fee, he's young so he has a sell on value for Danny boy, Yellow > Brazil and has a rather large reputation so could keep Luka interested?

I very much doubt we'd spank 40million on a 19year old.

From what POTL has been saying in the last couple of days the non-Adebayor part of the equation has been a long term target. I'm not convinced Nilmar fits that bill.

I agree with you about Rossi though. Don't think he's got the appetite to come here and I don't think we've got the appetite to spend the 30m plus that they supposedly want for him.

I'll say it now though...if we manage to sign Rossi + Llorente/Adebayor then I think we can win the league. Sadly I personally don't think we'll sign any of them.

Yep, it makes me think that it has to be be either Rossi or Leandro. I can't see Rossi coming here (love to be proven wrong), and Leandro seems a pretty dead deal at the momment.

diagree completly. player like him offers no value to first team imo. everytime he plays we for the most part lose or play bad and more importantly for me his position withing the squad stops a player like parrett or bostock from gaining experience or been encouraged or driven to get into squad. he should def be sold.

if we sign diarra thats thudd, diarra sandro and modric.. that more than enough cover for cm positions

Nilmar :hump: the dude is peaking!

I'm not convinced he's at Rossi level yet, but he's an upgrade on what we have and would bring some fresh energy into our striker force.

Yes i though Neymar, then i woke up.

Neymar won't go to anyone outside of the big 5 or 6 european clubs. Plus i think he's a massive risk for a club like us, Robinho was as highly rated as Neymar when at Santos and look what happened when he moved over to Europe and especially the prem. The big clubs can afford to take a gamble on him, we can't.

Yeah bit similar to a few of our other inconsistent players Crouch,Defoe,Lennon,Pavlyuchenko,Kranjcar and Huddlestone and let's not forget VDV went off the boil for a few months too last year too.

POTL said yesterday that both blue and yellow are the same players we were linked with in January. I don't think we were openly linked with Neymar in jan

I think Yellow has to be Rossi, but i can't honestly see us getting him and Adebayor/Llorente.

As for Jenas, i do hope we keep him, but i do also hope we only use him as a squad player when needed and don't give him a lot of first team action.

Neymar would be quite the coup, bit unrealistic though tbfh. Mind you, you have to speculate to accumulate...he'd probably go for double that to RM or whoever in a few years. Fantastic talent.

I think Peanut hit the nail on the head yesterday Blue was Rossi and now POTL has changed that to fit Adebayor, I am sure Yellow was Leandro, but we were talking to Llorente in January too, but not sure where the yellow fits with him.
