Reading between the lines on this and please tell me if I'm wrong...you would like it if Martin Jol tried to buy Jenas,am I right:grin:

But goal is accurate on the spurs front

The guy on Goal who is good on the Spurs stuff has just tweeted:
Villareal trying to hijack #THFC move for Leandro Damiao & #FCB still lurking. Spurs talks progressing well though, they are confident

I'm glad big MJ is back in English football good luck to him, and like others i hope he comes knocking for a few of his old favourites from Spurs.
The only problem could be finance as Fulham are not renowned for spending big money or paying big wages, which could throw a spanner in the works if he wants to buy Keane Jenas etc

He'll go for Jenas I reckon...and Keane too, if he can. Infact Keane and Jenas would be good moves for Fulham and the players themselves.

Both would probably prefer to stay in London too...the only obstacle will be wages, certainly in Keane's case.

Heh, nice one A&C. That and Tony Soprano returning to the Premier League has helped get the day of to a flyer!

With regards to BMJ, I can definitely see him at least enquiring about a few of our players.

I can see Fulham picking up Keano now.

Keane and Jenas are the only players I could see Jol really coming in for, the other players from the Jol days (BAE, King, Dawson, Kaboul, Lennon, Bale, Hudd) would all be out of his reach and Defoe wasn't exactly his favourite striker.

I posted it

heres the link

The player also like to Inter but, in the words of the agent, the Bianconeri seem to have a slight advantage, "Yes, yes, also Inter is interested but is waiting to take your passport to get Michel forward. It 'difficult to answer the question about which of the two favorites, are two great clubs, but Juventus is on him for the longest time, the player knows the project, knows the new stadium, for now he is ahead because Michel feels most wanted . The passport is waiting for Tottenham, tomorrow we will be in Lyon for just this. "

Might be lost in translation but it seems like we could be meeting him and his agent today?

I am am bi-lingual so I will offer a more accurate translation

"The offer from Juventus is surely the most concrete, I think that by the end of the week, at maximum 10 days, we will understand if it can be finalized" - Says Emmanuel de Kerchove to calciomercatoweb.it , the agent of the Brazilian and Lyon wide man Michel Bastos.

The player is also liked by Inter but according to the words of the agent the Bianconeri seem to have a slight advantage. "Yes, its true, Inter are also interested, but they await for Michel to receive his passport. It is difficult to answer the question to who he prefers, they are two massive clubs. But Juventus have been tracking him for more time, the player understands the clubs project, knows about the new stadium, for now Juve are ahead because Michel feels more wanted. Tottenham are also waiting for Bastos to get his passport, and tomorrow we will be at Lyon for this very purpose"

Anyway I gathered from this that Juve are the strong favs for his actual signing and we are negotiating with his agent to pencil out what Bastos would want from us if we where to make an offer. But this is not clear. It could well be that Us, Juve and Inter have all agreed terms with Lyon and it is just up to him to decide.

I have a feeling the agent is really saying he will go to whoever offers him more money, also while I have no reason to doubt these quotes the site they have been taken from (not tuttosport who are a Juve supporting sports paper, so you would think are close to the club) a non-trustworthy source, say similar to Goal.com.

EDIT: The passport thing completely changes the context of the whole article, and means he is not talking to spurs at all but is actually receiving his passport while we are looking at the situation. In other words this is a complete non-story caused by a google translation

Its good news BMJ coming back to the Prem, it will help us move some players on...I'll be gob-smacked if he doesn't try for one or two Spurs boys.

All we need is 3 first team players that won't cost huge amounts of money. I really hope the club are seriously looking at Lavezzi from Napoli, Marin from Bremen and Drogba. Any recent ITK's on any of these players?
