I am am bi-lingual so I will offer a more accurate translation

Anyway I gathered from this that Juve are the strong favs for his actual signing and we are negotiating with his agent to pencil out what Bastos would want from us if we where to make an offer. But this is not clear. It could well be that Us, Juve and Inter have all agreed terms with Lyon and it is just up to him to decide.

I have a feeling the agent is really saying he will go to whoever offers him no money, also while I have no reason to doubt these quotes the site they have been taken from (not tuttosport who are a Juve supporting sports paper, so you would think are close to the club) a non-trustworthy source, say similar to Goal.com.

Where were you yesterday!? Would have saved us hours of tawdry bollocks arguing over whether Bastos is better than Benny. Actually, it probably wouldn't. But I wouldn't have bothered reading it.

"The passport is waiting for Tottenham" is all very Spy Novel sounding anyway. Like Tottenham is actually the code name of a Deep Throat and he will be avoiding the KGB in Lyon tomorrow in order to make the rendezvous with Agent Tottenham - License to Kill.

No? Just me?

Funny thing is I was actually in those arguments, but I never really bothered to check up on the source of all the Bastos talk!

All we need is 3 first team players that won't cost huge amounts of money. I really hope the club are seriously looking at Lavezzi from Napoli, Marin from Bremen and Drogba. Any recent ITK's on any of these players?

This would be perfect scenario!

I think Bastos agent is just trying to play Juve to get the maximum amount of money for his client. I can't see a hope in hell of us wanting Bastos. He is gonna cost 20m and isn't gonna want to sit on the bench.

Well look according to the Daily Mirror, Rose is being loaned out to Pompey, paving the way to truth for this story I think maybe?

For the love of God, can somebody please get whoring :)

Who: dvdhopeful
Where: His living room
Time: 11:54

My sources (ketchup, brown, sweet chilli) are telling me that the coffee pot could soon be moving nearer to attaining its hope of reaching a cup. Wages demands are, as yet, uncertain - it is thought it will be somewhere in the region of milk and one sugar - something I'm unsure if the club will be willing to meet.

The coffee is thought to be of Colombian origin and has been described as 'fresh', 'bitter' and 'full of energy'. It is also thought that it is no older than 6 months of age.

The fact that the new signing is young and foreign, will be a great source of excitement to a number of our members.

edit: More news in from my sources (oyster, wasabi, teriyaki) that coffee could soon be followed by an antarctica striker, which from the look of it will make SpursKing happy, called Penguin

Rose has denied this. Marca have also said we're favourites for Lass, and they know their Real Madrid... hope its :bs: though, I don't want him personally.

He's a decent player but for 20m euros (which is apparently what Marca are quoting) they're having a laugh.

I'd probably rather have Parker anyway but if that's what Lass is going to cost it's an absolute no contest.

Depends, if West Ham are wanting silly money for Parker and we can get Lass for only a few million more, Levy will go with Lass every time I'd guess. Younger, probably asking the same wage and resale value.

Diarra isn't exactly the character and leader that Harry is looking for. Even though I don't want Parker, given a choice between him and Diarra I would opt for the Parker.

Diarra in exchange for Palacios I could live with. That is an upgrade and the right type of player. Parker just isn't the upgrade that most - inc Redknapp - think he is on what we have.

Unfortunately, I doubt if Jol would be that interested in Huddelstone as he picked Zokora and Jenas over him the whole time he was here just about. I could definitely see Jol taking Jenas though.

BIZ
Why do you think Drogba will be staying now ?

I don't understand what Diarra has done to suggest he'd be an upgrade as opposed to Parker.

That works out well then doesn't it! We all know that Harry would sell Jenas way before Hudd, and Harry's midfield was the one that reached top 4.

So I wouldn't describe it as unfortunate, more like extremely logical.
