Just been doing some whoring over on GG - someone called SuperTed posted this in response to Archibald's update (91) on Leandro Damiao

"Just an update on this. My sources tell me a deal is imminent, however still a few hurdles to jump over. Watch this space.

PS - the tiger has been let out of the cage."

Someone later, in response, goes on to add that Falcao is known as "El tigre".

Anyone heard of SuperTed as an ITK before...?

Sounds like a piss-take to me - got all three elements of

1. Done deal
2. Not done deal
3. Cryptic


Having said that, I hope it isn't as Leandro and Falcao would do very nicely!

:rofl: What a joke. Pretty much the same as saying, the deal is done although it might not be so wait and see

These people really do need to get a life. I love reading the so called decent ITK lot but too many people are jumping on the bandwagon now adays.

I dont think ive read an ITK in the last year that has been right. More WUMS then anything. shame really because it spoils it for the decent ones

I need an ITK Fix..... I am suffering from withdrawal....I actually have to make conversation with my wife now in bed instead of reading ITK on my IPad... Can Adiepf just bite the bullet and put us in a tizzy again...

To be honest, it seems everything has slowed down this week. I imagine it's a combination of international week and holidays for management.

harry has eluded today in his SSN interview that the club is extremely busy...

personal opinion is that we will see earlier movement from the club this window...

Did some searching on dutch sites and fora and found that the wage demands of Gomes could be a stumbling block in his possible move to PSV. He now earns about 50k p/w (allegedly) with us. PSV has a tight wage structure with top earners having 1M euros a year (+/- 893k GBP), with Gomes now earning about 2,9 M euros yearly. A transfer to PSV would mean him having about 33 % of his current salary. That's hefty.

This is what I have learnt in the last couple of windows. There are alot of people on this forum that don't care if the 'ITK' information that gets passed on 99% of the time is BS they just want something to discuss and read.

And it's even better if it's cryptic because then you can work it into five or six different players.

Does that take into account any differences in tax? Like you say that is a huge drop in wages if true.
