Yep, last time we were this active (assuming we do actually follow through on it) was when we were spending the Bale money. Hopefully it will be coming in next summer rather than this though.

There was ITK that Todd Kline the new Chief Commercial Officer was very impressive behind the scenes so perhaps a naming rights deal is close. It would be sensible to announce any such deal after the transfers had been agreed.

Keeper obviously not an imminent priority, but fantastic that those in positions to fix our glaring issues are looking at good centre half's. If we can plug the middle of our defence and stop coughing up leads we can become a force once again. Yes we need more signings, but centre half is a great place to start. Let's hope this goes through without any spursy hitches ??

Was in response to ‘the Kane money’ - my point is we have enough assets to cope without selling Kane.

Hercs wording to me unless i'm reading it wrong suggests we would sign Ings and this other striker. If that's the case it can only mean Kane is gone as we aren't going to get two people to volunteer to bench warm for 90% of our games. Baring in mind we havent played two up top in either warm up game so far.

Sorry to rain on the parade but nothing good or positive has actually happened yet and we start the new campaign in three weeks…im pretty certain DL historically bid for some exciting players that never actually became THFC signings!

You still don’t know how to speak hercanese yet? Well I’m 86% sure he meant the priority is Ings with a deadline but we do have another option if that passes. Either way, exciting news is we have concrete interest in Ings.

mate, there is WAAAAAAY too much smoke, for a bus al to be games! I’m one of the most pessimistic in regards to transfers ….. but it SEEMS like these are going to happen.

You haven't 'rained on the parade' at all and your hesitancy is perfectly understandable. You are completely entitled to put a few grey clouds into the blue sky but allow yourself the possibility of a rainbow as well ?
Only time will prove whether we were too optimistic but from my experiences of watching Fabio weave his magic I would say there are definitely reasons to be cheerful.
Maybe things will become a little clearer this weekend
