I don't really like "reports" of this kind. No announcement of a club fine as far as I know. My suspicion is that all the Pulis stuff is designed to give the Chairman cover when he sells Berahino. Not doing much for the price though.

tbh I think the bigger fee staged payments there chairman leaked last time would easily be cushioned by a lower all at once fee!.
cash in hand to spend immediately so to speak !.

I really don't want him now. Don't think he's particularly needed. Had a great chance to go to the euros if he just knuckled down. I know he's gonna be disappointed he didn't get the promises he had for his dream move and more £ but there are ways of going about it. I'd rather have Austin as he's scored goals and wouldn't mind being a back up, can fill the Kane role pretty well and wouldn't take up a place to stop younger players coming through

Indeesd, caused enough trouble to not make the starting XI, but not enough to exclude him from the sub's bench.

Maybe not read everything you read in the papers. There's obviously problems with his club and the relationship between them. If they treated him badly at the end of last window no surprise it's gone downhill. As
A player he's what we need. When did we all become so morale. A 22
Kid is not going to upset the apple cart of a 30 player squad

I'm not sure why people are saying they want a player who is happy being backup. I want us to sign a player who believes they can start and will challenge Kane for his spot!

Whoops, on my phone. I'll remove it chief (and try not to accidentally mark others as I go, ending up in a tumbling spiral of fat fingers and ratings scandal)

No worries bud. I know I post some drivel at times but thought that one was fairly to the point.

Spot on. We will inevitably sign a player who can play multiple positions - the player we bring in should.d believe he can get a spot playing off Kane, or wide of Kane, or Kane can play deeper off him. Signing someone who believes he isn't good enough to get in our team is a pointless exercise.

Reports today that Berahino has constantly turned up late for training and that is why Pulis said what he did he other day. He's obviously angling for a move away in January and is trying his upmost to get out.
Even if you want a move you show up on time every day and get on with it. Huge maturity and attitude problems on Berahino. Complete headcase. And these problems have followed him throughtout his career even as a youth player. Very troublibg that we want him, IMO. We finally have a unified squad with a ton of spirit and got rid of bad apples. No need to bring in a bad apple now.

I think Saido is nailed on. We wanted and needed him at the start of the season. We agreed fee an terms only for it to go pair shaped because of differences beyond Poch and Saido.

It's clear WBA want shot of him, the only banana skin is whether Levy will try to low ball on the price.

All of this, but also Levy's entitled to offer less than last time- SB is less valuable to WBA now and his contract is shorter. The only issue is whether another team comes in for him but they didn't last time and Poch's track record for developing young players has got to be a big draw for lots of young players.

Actually the circumstances have changed a little. City, United, Pool and Chelsea are all desperate for a striker and stupid enough to offer £10milliom above true value.

Quick deal or No deal Peace!

Well I would certainly expect him to cost less than what we offered in the summer. He's got less time left on his contract and he's barely played so he won't be going for what WBA wanted previously.
