West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City have said no interest in Vincent Janssen of Tottenham more @TimesSport

Swansea City could be set to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Victor Janssen on loan. #DeadlineDay
This could be beneficial to all sides - we get Llorente as a backup to Harry, Vincent gets playing time to prove himself and Clement gets some goals to stay up - not quite sure where Bony fits in however.

Think about it from Swansea's perspective. They owe Spurs £5m for Sig. If they want £15m cash now for Llorente they could accept £10m from us and call it even or, £20m from Chelsea to then feed us the £5m cash. Only works if they are wanting cash in the bank now which I know doesn't happen much these days. I would think Llorente may see us as having more opportunities to play

They probably still owe us something for Carroll too.

Got a feeling Barkley's about to be disappointed. Hard to blame Levy if Everton are still insisting on 35m fee which although is what LFC paid for Chamberlain cannot be used as a yardstick when Barkley is injured for at least another 2 months.

There is however the contract piece to consider. RB can start speaking with clubs in the next transfer window and move for a free in the summer. So £25m, for example, is a lot better than the £10m that they MIGHT bet in Jan or the £0 they will get next summer.

If he's injured for a couple of months then frankly i don't see why Everton would want to keep him, plus it's a WC year and so i can't see RB wanting to remain at Everton this season anyway. IMO RB will move today.

IMO Barkley will come down to the wire and be a 10pm type signing. Once Everton realise they need to sell him and realise he wants us and that's their only option then it will get done quickly.
Surely they would have realised this by now.

They could be playing a dangerous game expecting us to come back today with more money. It may be who blinks first later on - either we up our bid a bit or they accept what's on the table as better than nothing in January.

Got a feeling this may still happen but I know f*** all.

I'm trying my best to convince A&C we should allow "media" ITK in here in the future but you guys really don't hep my argument!

Sky saying Bony looked done to Swansea but now Verona interested, and they wont let Llorente go without a replacement

I think they are playing the dangerous game, assuming that someone will get desperate come later afternoon and jump in and offer more money.

Llorente isn't done according to the BBC, just bid accepted. Chelsea are still expected to make another bid themselves.
Yes just heard it on SSN also. Also reckon Swansea need to get a striker in before deal can be done so expect this to go on all day.

Also the interesting piece of ITK we had a while back that players were beginning to turn away from Chelsea and not want to go there. Double love it.

@whitestreak - easy on the fucking Twitter, you're going to give ol Archie a heart attack.

Can you at least format it in a better way? And also not quote random fan sites?

THAT'D BE GREAT THANKS.

I think they have been hoping that other clubs come in and force a bidding war. I think the only reason the Ox is looking to go for £40m (still cant believe it) is because Liverpool and Chelsea have shown interest. With RB there has been a lot of chat about how he only wants Spurs. If that is the case and he has made it clear to Everton that he will not accept terms with Chelsea so they cannot accept an offer from them, that means Everton have lost all the cards and will likely approach Spurs today and accept an offer we tabled earlier in the window. thing is Levy will now say "well I WAS willing to offer X BUT now I am thinking Y" and Everton will be forced into a decision to accept a value they think is below market or keep him until the next window. The injury is actually a bonus for us in this situation as if he were fit then he could be played for the next 6-9 months and contribute. Now it looks likely he wouldn't be match fit until November and would therefore not even hold any playing value in keeping him.... I'm happy with this one playing out, if we get him for a knock down fee now or free next summer I can wait. All this relies on the info about him only wanting us to be correct.

So tks are silent. JJ seemingly prepped us earlier for nothing. Guess Aurier not announced yet means he's it for the window. With a slight chance of a last minute move for Llorente. Shambolic window, yet again.

Well fuck off out of the thread then instead of posting every hour saying how shit it all is.
