I know a few ITKs have implied Mahrez is a no-go, but it's really strange to have heard nothing about the mystery pacy wide man by now. Could they just be telling us what we need to hear, like the Oracle in The Matrix...

If there is indeed a mystery pace man that turns up at the 11th hour, there are two main observations that come to mind:
1) The club have done remarkably well to keep it quiet and
2) The ITKs are seriously well plugged in!

Feels a bit of a stretch right now but if indeed it materialises, and is of the right quality, we would be able to reflect on a really good window I reckon.

Personally I'd like Barkley too but I understand the hesitancy

1 being Llorente and the other a long shot that won't happen I would say. Aurier, Sanchez and Llorente improves us on the whole so I'm happy with that.

I think that we will fall back on the RB deal and that will be our lot, oh plus Llorente (with Vinny going the other way on loan). Think that will be the sum of our achievements. Not a bad window, depending on Ross' fitness.

Anything else will be out of nowhere, but I am usnsure of securing any surprise signing at this stage. One can hope though.
